ARich for a 2024 1st (Poll)

I've got an offer on the table to give a single 2024 1st and get back ARich. At present, the 1st is the 1.03. The owner is actually 5th in points, but has run into some back luck and is currently sitting in 8th. This pick will end up being 1.02-1.04 range. It won't be 1.01, and an almost zero percent chance it ends up later than 1.04.

Regarding 2024, I'd only want Caleb or MHJ over ARich. The owner of 1.01 plans to take Caleb. The owner of the current 1.02 has another first that will round out the top 4, so I can see him going MHJ at 1.02 and then a QB at 1.04. I can also see him taking a QB at 1.02 and 1.04. He's kind of a wildcard, and I have no idea what to expect.

So the only way for sure I will lock in MHJ or Caleb is to end up at 1.02, and I'm not sure if this pick will get that done for me. So, should I just go ahead and take ARich here and be excited about his upside? Or just hold the 1st, and try to add to it to move into the top 2 in the instance that it doesn't end up there on its own.

I should add that my trade partner wants to get this deal done asap and doesn’t want to wait until the off-season. I presume this is so he can try to sell more pieces and land the 1.02

AR is out for the year, and the pick placement isn’t settled yet. I’m not risking it to send AR, make the trade when pick placement is settled imo

I prefer the pick to Richardson in general, but if the pick ends up looking locked into the 1.03 in a few weeks, I could see the deal more based on you only wanting the top two prospects over him. Seems a bit risky to make the deal now in case the pick ends up the 1.02. Richardson has multiple red flags and is also missing important development time.

I'm not doing this. I'd hold the pick for now.

If the pick ends up 1.03/1.04 I'd rather pay up to get to the 1.02 than trade it for AR anyway. I'm paying a lot to get that done. Unless this is a TEP league, MHJR is a significantly better asset than anything else in this draft. Also you don't need AR on that team.
