Rice vs QJ Value

I like the idea of Rice, and obviously Burks and QJ have been a disappointment so far, but this feels like a bit of an overpay, right? Should I just take it and count the extra roster space maneuverability as a win?

Rice has nice upside and is intriguing but the same can be said for Johnston despite his slower start. It feels like an overpay.

Feels like an overpay, but if you want Rice I say pull the trigger. QJ hasn’t done much and Burks has little value at this point

I wouldn't do it, but I have utmost respect for people who want to "get their guy." If Rice is your guy, go get him!

Assuming you put zero value on Burks, this is pretty close IMO. FWIW - I still think it's too early to put zero value on Burks. I don't think we have enough data to evaluate him. Going back to last year - he's been hurt, Tanny's been hurt, the o-line and offense have been terrible, etc. Unless we tag him as injury prone, I don't think he's worth tossing to the heap quite yet. If we get to this point next season w/o progress then I'm out.

Agree it feels like an overpay, but if everyones season continue on the same path as they're currently on I doubt you could get Rice for this same package. I feel like the offseason is going to be filled with the idea of "Rice ascending to the WR1 in KC" while more questions will remain for QJ and Burks.

This could either look really good in 6 months or really bad in 6 months.

There is still a non zero chance Burks gets it. I’d donit straight up but not add Burks.
