They must not look for penalties in those reviews.

They don’t. Like FF implied, you’d be seeing pretty much every TD called back for penalties if they were, especially if they’re watching in slow motion.

I mean, that would obviously be absurd. Who is responsible for building this gigantic straw man…

I think game changing plays should be reviewed (or at least be able to be reviewed). Pass interference, personal foul penalties, etc. and like I said, if the nfl put the resources in, it would be the same time or even less for reviews. At least make them available for coaching challenge reviews.

The concept was brought up in response to a potential holding call on a TD. Could certainly get on board for egregious penalties as you suggest, but calls like holding need to happen on the field.

Eye in the sky opens another can of worms IMO. That last hold on the Eagles, the DB blitzing used illegal hands to the face. There's a penalty on almost every NFL snap. Start adding replay to it, it makes it problematic, people will complain about non reviews, or another penalty on the play that was called back for a penalty etc. Have to realize in any team sports, with refs, there is going to be stuff that is subjective, and missed.
