I'm currently contending and the guy in 11th place after this week, and out of contention, is sitting with Derrick Henry on his team. I know he just had a big game, but I'm hoping to try and get him for cheap, or somewhat cheap at least, as he's not doing much for his team.
Any thoughts on an initial trade offer? Send Mattison and a pick? Maybe just try a pick?
Should I avoid this and go after a veteran WR instead?

If you can land him for a very late 1st, I could see making the deal as a contender, but I would not give much else. Based on your RB core, I think you need to hold Mattison for an option. Even though he has not been great, he still give you another option. If you move Mattison, your room would be very think if an injury comes.
I still think Henry offers a good flex play to a contender for the right price.

Its a 1/2 a season rental,I wait until the tradeline is passed before doing anything and decide then.late first or 2nd is what I would be comfortable with.

I am looking to add Henry in a league (12 tm superflex, so late firsts hold more value than non-sf leagues) I am contending in as well, and similarly the guys team is 1-7 and sitting in last. He offered me Henry for a first last week, but at this point I wouldn't give up a first for Henry, as I think he has this year left. A late 2nd does seem light, so I guess imo his value is a early to mid 2nd.

If Henry is traded (in the NFL) he needs the right fit. He's not going to a KC type offense and be the old king Henry. If he's in a run first, well a team that wants to run, he could be rejuvenated for the 2nd half of the season. I'd deal a very late 1st for him and hope he's moved.
