So I have 1.01 locked up. Got an offer for J'Marr Chase for the pick, which I plan to use on Caleb Williams. I tanked for him specifically, but I am intrigued.

Chase is the much better known and elite asset obviously, but Williams will have huge value this offseason and based on the 14 team format, I think you hold as of now. I am guessing this offer will still be on the table this offseason and the offer may get even better with hype.

This is a tough one. Depends on settings and roster for me. Chase would be really hard to pass up, but in a 14tm SF I'm only passing on CW if my QBs are set.

12 tm easily chase, 14 team definitely makes it more to think about but I am still leaning Chase, but I would probably say my current QB and WR makeup would be the deciding factor.
I have Burrow and Tua and am currently looking at first pick and would be adding to CW for a chance at Chase but its 10 team. I also do not think the Chase owner would entertain it in the slightest in my league. I have also talked myself into MHJ over CW if I stay at first anyway.

I think Caleb > Chase in 14 team SF.
QB values increase as league size increases.
QB value in 10 team SF < QB value in 12 team SF < QB value in 14 team SF

Need more info. Who are your current QBs? Lean Chase, but if I have zero QBs in a 14 team league Superflex, I'm likely going Caleb or trying to add a veteran QB I like and a later 1st (like Goff and 1.04 or something). Totally hypothetical, would need to dig into the class a bit more to say for sure.
