Lost Cousins, Stafford and D Jones (SF/TEP)

I’ve had terrible luck with an early contending team with NO PICKS (I inherited an orphan) and now I lose all of my starting QBs.

Having no picks makes this real tricky but I do have some younger core players but I’m nervous to trade them away to try to bandaid this team losing long term value.

I was offered Jaren Hall and mid-late 24 2nd for Tank Dell.

Dell splashed early on, but a 2nd in a SF/TEP for Dell doesn’t seem terrible either.

QB: Cousins, Stafford, Jones
RB: Ekeler, Henry, Montgomery, Mixon, Allgeier, McClaughlin, Gainwell, K Ingram, Strong, Singletary
WR: Kupp, Cooper, JSN, Dell, Toney, W Robinson, Atwell, Phillips, T Palmer, Tillman
TE: Goedert, McBride, Schultz, Granson
ZERO PICKS

Start 1QB, 1SF, 2RB, 3WR, 2Flex

Honestly, your done in that league for this year. If I were you, Ekeler, Henry, Montgomery, Mixon, Allgeier, Kupp, Cooper, Goedert would all be traded for picks. Some others will probably disagree, but i would do a complete blow up and work on the rebuild. The fact the previous owner traded all of your future picks, and thats still the team you have is pretty bad. Trade those guys for draft picks and young players.

I would go the opposite direction here and start shopping your older pieces that are looking to decline heavily on the market after this season. This is really bad luck that all of your QBs went down in SF, but no matter how good a team is, there is almost no coming back from that in the format. I would start shopping to see if it's worth getting out of your older assets now for value and looking to next season. if the returns are not there, then I would try to patch QB if that is your only option but I would be going the other way to start looking at options.

geezzz, bad luck for sure. obviously get what you can...pick your battles, some contenders might have a bad week or two and be motivated to sure up this year for a pick. It's all timing

No no, but the top tier have mostly already traded their picks away and the lower tier is not trading their picks for aging vets

Ahhhh, got ya. Can you do out year picks? like 2025 and 2026? Maybe those guys in the top half would be willing to part with out year picks to lock down a strong championship run. You would probably have to deal with another down year next year, but that would just lead to a top 3 pick which, coupled with the picks you trade for, could set you up for a strong rebuild.
