Thielen Price Check

Trading Thielen in Team 1 which is in a deep rebuild. Was originally shopping him for Jeudy but adding my second to Thielen for Jeudy and E. Moore was a bit too steep for me. I know its his last year of relevance, but what is a realistic price for him? Is it a late 2nd? Is someone like Elijah Moore a realistic straight swap? Seems low for WR 10 in PPR even at this age. He's winning me too many games and I need him gone this week.

For an out and out contender, I could see an early - mid 2nd being max value. He is producing well, but an early 2nd is max hope.

Ultimately he's worth what someone in your league will pay you. The important part is AT is doing you no good, and you need him gone. I would put him on the block and trade him for whatever the best offer was.

In a perfect world I'd hope for a 2nd. In the real world of most leagues, you're looking at a narrow slice of owners who need to trade for him. Assume in a 12 team league there are two super teams that don't necessarily need another WR. Then assume one of the contenders that are not a super team has a solid WR room. That would leave one or two teams to chase for this trade. And if one (or both of them) doesn't have a 2nd this year, he might not want to figure out how to make this work.

If you need him gone, just put the word out that AT will be traded by the end of the week and tell everyone interested to make their best offer. Then accept the best offer, whatever it is.
