Not loving the Titans right now, but am sitting 4-2 one game back of first but am thin at RB (guys like Dalvin, Gibson etc have been crap). Looking into Spears a bit - is he worth going after still being behind Henry? Owner is asking for a 2nd or maybe a WR like Dionte Johnson. Thoughts?

If your 2nd looks late, I could see making the gamble. He has shown he can play. I would not offer an early to earlier mid 2nd however.

It's that knee and his 200lb stature that makes me hesitate.

Yeah, he worth any 2nd. Most people who got him used a 2nd on him in the rookie draft.

Agree with this. Not sure how he can be drafted in the mid 2nd, shows that he can play, and not get a bump in his value. I wouldn't sell my share for anything less than a VERY early 2nd, if not a late 1st.

As a Spears owner, I wouldn't sell for an Early 2nd. Late 1st or Early 2nd + Mid-Late 2nd minimum

Loved the tape coming out. He does everything well, can play all three downs and is so elusive. I'd easily pay a 2nd to get him on my roster. That will become an underpay at some point.

Offering a late 2nd for Spears is totally unrealistic. Early 2nd is the minimum; and he's just one big game away from being a 1st lock.

Early 2nd is not enough. That was typically what he was acquired for, why would anyone want to cash out with no profit, considering he's on the rise and looks fantastic. Late 1st is more realistic, and likely will need more on top to get Spears.
