Yeah saying you prefer Tua over Burrow due to health concerns is some crazy recency bias. Tua is one bad hit to the head away from retirement.

it might be true, but i've heard that about brandin cooks a lot, 4 years ago.

It's a risk not a guarantee. Happened to Jahvid Best.

yeah, that's the thing: for all the concussions these guys get (identified or otherwise), very few retire because of it. the last one i can remember was chris borland.

Carr injuries definitely play some role here. Olave targets the first 3 weeks without Kamara 10,11, and 11. Kamara takes 13 targets in week 4, and Olave targets are down to 6.

I've been wrong before but I don't think Kamara is going to get 13 targets regularly. Bummer for Olave but the return of Kamara, Carr's injury, and a few close calls feels more like the stars aligning for a dud than a trend.

Probably just a coincidence. Still...I may bench Olave in favor of Aiyuk or DJM until Carr is fully healthy again...

Carr wasn't fully healthy. He couldn't push the ball. 13 catches for 33 yards (again tiered PPR is a great thing ), is not going to happen every week. Winston should have played, and Carr should have rested his shoulder.

Also, Mac Jones isn't long for a starting gig, IMO. BB is maybe going to hang them up at the end of the year, too.

That could be the case, but I feel like Mac has absolutely been done a disservice by his supporting cast. The Patriots think they can trot out a bunch of bums at the receiving positions like they did with Brady but that only worked because it was Tom Brady.
