Were they? Dallas D was dominant. The offense didn't do squat. Dak had 143yards.

Good
Zay Flowers looks legit, as expected
Addison looks good.
Puka leading all rookie WRs???
Tyreek and JJ are dominant
Aiyuk breakout is here
Bijan is the real deal. Just wait until they give him the bulk of the carries because there is an ocean between his talent and Allgeier.
Purdy, love, and Tua doing their thing.
Mike Evans looking good for a trade.
AR made some really nice plays. Maybe he has it
Dallas defense, holy smokes.

Bad/unexpected
The entire top half of the QB ranks sucked. These guys at least need a few reps in preseason.
Denver, Vegas, Arizona, Washington, Chicago all suck
Eagles looked vulnerable

Good:
Pollard looking as advertised
Olave picking up where he left off last year
Pittman being heavily involved
Roschon on my bench, but proved now that he can catch, so maybe ready for bigger role as the season goes on
Kyren on my bench, but looking good. Held him despite all the Zach Evans hype.

Bad:
Javonte, needed a little bit more, but lighter workload was to be expected
DJM

Ugly:
Daniel Jones
Hodgins fumbling away his only catch of the day
Schultz
Ferguson
3x teams in 32-team standard PPR + IDP leagues

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

Didn't think Javonte looked bad, all things considered. More neutral to me than bad.

The good:

Rams - they looked much more crisp than I expected. Staff can still sling it, apparently!
9ers - Jesus they looked unstoppable.
Dolphins - that offense when healthy is a thing of beauty.
Chargers - Also looked really good, despite the loss. Ekeler is still a league winner, it seems?

The bad:

Bears - dreadful defensively, Fields didn't look good, DJM was absent... I'd be worried.
Commanders - They won, but it sure wasn't pretty. Howell in his second start with a new coordinator, but barely beating a JV team in Arizona isn't inspiring.
Vikings - JJ is the truth, but the Bucs shouldn't be a good team -- need more than 17 points.
Titans - Tannehill looked rusty, not bad, in my opinion but the whole team looked lost out there.

The ugly (and, for the sake of clarity, these are bad performances that I don't think are trends):

Giants - I mean wow what the bleep? Murphy's law in full swing.
Bengals - rain, Burrow injury, underrating the elves? Who knows. I think they'll rebound.
Chiefs WRs - defense looked amazing, Mahomes is Mahomes, but wow.
Steelers - no run game to speak of, defense got dominated, Pickett looked meh... I think they rebound, though.

Be careful with Roschon. He was well behind Herbert and Foreman. Just got a bunch of snaps at the end when the game was over. Made his day look better than it really was.

This is very true. Packers had their third string defense in playing prevent defense. Roschon did absolutely nothing until then. But, at least he got some experience.

Ok thanks for the warnings, had only time for some scoreboard scouting yet, will still keep him on the bench :)

Oh my bad. I didn't watch the game. Just kept hearing on Twitter that DAL was dominant. Must have been the DEF. My bad.

Yeah, DST had two TD's early on ... wasn't much flow for the offense, hell .. I was worried about Pollard getting enough work.

The Good:

Bijan made a few plays, namely that TD, that showed why he's the clear top player in FF for this class. His usage, beyond not getting GL work, was encouraging. Lined up in the slot for his TD, and some other plays as well. 6 receptions is exactly what you want to see.

The Bad: The Hawks OL. They really struggled to protect Geno and the offense completely sputtered.

The Ugly: The Giants offense. NOT what you want to see after giving DJ an extension.
Janiel Dones Truther

Foodie. Mild sauce goes in the trash. Well done steak goes with it.
