I’m glad football is back, but my gosh the wait between Thursday and Sunday week 1 feels agonizingly long. I almost wish they’d just start week 1 on Sunday without the Thursday teaser. Make it all the more exciting.

Seems like a pretty good matchup to me. Two of the top 3/4 offenses in the league. They want scoring and this fits the bill on paper.

I thought they would’ve put the reigning Super Bowl champs up against a team whose earned their stripes recently and at least made a playoff appearance. Lions haven’t since 2016.

Hopefully it’s a good game! That’s all I want.

Lets not forget the Lions went toe to toe with the Eagles last year 38 - 35..... this could be a sneaky one. Looks like Kelce is being declared out and if Chris Jones doesn't play then the Lions have more than enough of a chance.

The Lions, with absolutely nothing to play for - came out swinging against the Packers in week 18 last year and ended their season, all GB had to do was win to get in.

Looking forward to this matchup. Lions gained a lot of respect from that game. KC is a different beast but this should be a shootout.
