Jacobs for me but it's all preference. Both are solid and have a nice workload coming presumably.

Recent ADP favors Pollard heavily over Jacobs. That could be impacted still by drafts that happened before Jacobs resolved his contract dispute.

It frustrates me to say this, but I'd choose Pollard over Jacobs. Jacobs has proven he can be a league winner. Problem is he makes me nervous having missed camp. The incidence of injury in RBs that miss most/all of off-season team work is high. He's an avoid for me in redraft. And my current POV on RBs for dynasty is fairly close to redraft - I am concerned mostly about immediate production and a bit about what I hope for next year. I don't care much beyond that because the position is so volatile. Because I have those concerns, I'd rather own Pollard.

Note: I don't think either of these players should be owned on a non-contending team. If I can't see a fairly clear path to making the playoffs, I'm selling for high value. Stockpile assets that can be traded for RB production when the rest of the team is ready to compete.

They are pretty much the same age, Pollard is 1 year older. Both will be the lead rb with no real other options to steal touches from them. The only big difference is Jacobs has proven that he can carry the full load and had a lot of touches last season. Can Pollard make that jump to close to 300 touches in a season? Pollard has less mileage compared to Jacobs. I think that both have 2-3 years of top production ahead of them. I'm going Pollard here just because I think LV will run Jacobs into the ground this year and then let him walk.

I really like Tony Pollard. I've been known to be lower on Josh Jacobs than most. I'm still taking Jacobs over Pollard. Both are on one year deals. Both should be RB1s for their team. But I have seen Josh Jacobs handle a full workload, and be a league winner. I worry that Pollard won't be able to stay healthy with a larger workload. I think it's very close, but give me Jacobs straight up.
