Purdy vs 24 1st

Postby jponte3 » Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:47 am

12 team superflex start 11, on a team building for next year would you move purdy for a 24 first, from a team that will likely be a playoff team but difficult to know if it’ll be more mid vs late as it’s the first year of the league.
Other QBs on the roster are hurts, Kyler and Pickett. 5 point passing td.
I think purdy is likely worth more than this by mid year but just curious how others feel.
Thanks for any feedback.
12 team Superflex, 1/2 point PPR, 1 point TEP, Start 11 spots
QB: D Watson, J hurts., T. Lance, S. howell

WR: J. Chase, G. wilson, C. Watson, J. Dotson, , R. shaheed, C. austin, T. Scott, T. Tucker
TE: P. Freurmuth, J. Johnson, C. otton, T. Kraft

I think his value is a little more than a late 1st. Though, if you felt like he does not hold a starting job for long, it is a good price to sell at.

Value is probably with the 1st but on the flip side, at this point he is the starter with no great competition. So the smarter move is probably to hold and see if his value increases.

Purdy.
Must have something added to a mid/late 1st to get a clear cut NFL starting QB with no challenger to his throne and T15 upside. It would be criminal to trade him for only a late 1st. At the very least, you should be also receiving a startable RB/WR.

Hard pass, Purdy should be worth more than that.

This is my opinion as well.

I'd try to aim for a mid first. Right now there are 5 players i'd for sure want over him in next year's draft. Beyond that, who knows. If you feel he gets replaced next year, then take the late 1st. Otherwise, aim a bit higher.

As someone that grabbed him off waivers last year, a 49ers fan and a league that is starting a SF spot this season I'm hoping he keep rolling with what he did last season in those 7 games. I think right now it is a pure sell low on him and his stock can only go up from here in a SF, so I'm holding.
