Need help with this trade. I'm a contender and have a chance to add an elite piece in Waddle. The trade is an overpay and I'm reluctant to get rid of Kincaid but it might be worth it for Waddle. Thanks for the feedback.

Samuel really regressed and Kincaid is a complete unknown at a position where most end up not being difference makers. For me, this comes down to if you think Samuel can bounce back. If not, I think the value is with Waddle with the pick looking late even though it looks hefty on paper.

It is a heavy price to pay, basically 2 1st ( assuming Kincaid went in the 1st rd this year), a 24' 1st and Deebo. But long term this give you three top young wr's where ideally you are set at that position for the next 6 years.

I'm making this deal. ARSB, Wilson and Waddle gives you an elite and very young trio to roll out for a long time. Heck, 2 of any 3 of these might get you Jefferson or Chase too if you wanted to push even further. You have enough options at TE to live without Kincaid. I make this move regardless of whether or not you are contending too.

The format makes this closer than I originally thought, but I'd still take Waddle pretty easily here. Like you said, I believe this makes you a better contender and is likely the better move long term as well. I've been an avid fan of Deebo for awhile, but I don't see him staying completely healthy going forward or having as many targets as he's had in the past with Aiyuk growing and improving.
