Training cap hype, since the other thread is locked.

WARNING- TALK ONLY ABOUT FOOTBALL! If anyone brings up anything not DIRECTLY about football, I'll hire a flash mob to tickle torture them.

Projection for Bijan- 301 touches (team leader), 86 projected targets would be third behind London's 95 and Pitts' 90. "Only nine players — Josh Jacobs, Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Christian McCaffrey, Najee Harris, Austin Ekeler, Alvin Kamara and Dalvin Cook — had 300 or more last season, according to TruMedia. Harris (401 in 2021), Barkley (382 in 2018) and James Robinson (300 in 2020) are the only players in the last five seasons to reach that mark in their rookie season."

Allgeier second on team in projected touches- 158 carries, 12 targets. Arthur Smith- “We may have the idea that we want to get guys a certain number of carries and then all of a sudden Allgeier gets a hot hand and what you’re doing with him is working. Don’t be rigid. We have to win the game.”

These numbers were projected before CPatt's injury. Unclear how his 85 touches (50c, 35t) would be divided up.

With how weak Atlanta's schedule is, if Ridder is even competent, I am starting to like the improvement potential from last year for this team.

Is this for camp only or also for pre-season games? I can't remember if there was a separate pre-season thread.

I saw the posts/threads about Bijan's touches this year. Is anyone concerned he didn't play in the first pre-season game? Will we see him in SOME/ANY of the pre-season games?

But I mean both are being discussed a little in each thread. No big deal to talk about football in either one

Cool, thanks. I was searching pre-season not preseason. Much appreciation.

Atlanta is in such a weak conference they need Ridder to be good or they will be in that in between stage of not getting a high pick or being truly competitive

But I also know that I’m just using dynasty perspective. If these names, London, Pitts, Bijan, fill the stadiums and they make playoffs it’s likely to be monetarily worth it for the owners and that’s probably good enough.

About the same spot Titans find themselves.

Should Watson’s struggles worry me for Cooper? Feels like he should be in for massive volume. Even if Watson isn’t what he used to be, Cooper should still do pretty well right? Trying to figure out if I should ride or add my hopefully late 1st and try to their up. Cooper’s value is always frustrating though.

Anyone buying into Demario Douglas in NEP? I keep hearing his name. I've also heard Boutte is doing well, so that's nice for those of us that took a flier on him in the 4th round. What a messy WR corps:

LWR Devante, Bourne
RWR Thornton, Boutte
SWR JJSS, Douglas

Are we avoiding this?

I’d think Cooper is a hold. No way you can get the right value compared to his likely production.

Watson has been up and down. I moved all of my shares, so I'm hoping that was smart, but I can't see him being a bust.

Purdy was cleared for live-action ahead of the start of training camp but had been operating on a pitch count up until this point in the summer. He's now been given the green light to practice three days in a row heading into the 49ers preseason matchup versus the Denver Broncos. The second-year QB connected on 15-of-19 pass attempts with the first-team offense during the team's various 11-on-11 drills. His most impressive throw of the day was a deep shot to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk down the right sideline with cornerback Ambry Thomas in coverage.

I picked him in a massive rebuild. Had someone try and send me Robert Woods for him. I countered with either a 3rd or CEH and he rejected with no counter. I don’t see why I’d sell for a 4th. I’ll let it play out. NE is the perfect place for someone to become relevant and the organization doesn’t seem concerned with draft capital(possibly they are so bad at drafting they can’t use draft capital as a measuring stick)

He's been practicing against an elite defense that has been taking "cheap shots" at him in practice. So I don't buy in to the struggles there too much.

I traded 2 mid to late 2nds for a Lance before training camp hoping he would steal the job. Those picks are swirling in the toilet at this moment.
