Thinking about moving Hall or Walker

I am very invested in RBs which I feel like it will shorten my window especially how they are so volatile with their values.

I’m thinking of moving walker for a deal to get something like D Adams and Addison. I may have to add to the deal, but that would be the framework. This guy is a semi contender, but wants to get younger. So it may work.

Should I just stay the course and pick a Vet WR later in the year using a future pick or should I move off these RB assets and turn them into WR?

I would love to move Swift or Sanders but they aren’t sexy enough and no one is offering much.

If you move Walker, I think it hurts your chances at possibly making a run this year. If you do end up moving him, I would want a young piece to help build around than Adams being the center piece of the return. He is still great but if you are looking more at next year, look for a younger WR.

Walker + 2024 1st(should be late) + 2nd
I get Adams and Aiyuk

What do you think about that counter?

Should I just wait for Walker to get some value back in season?

I've been beating the drum for months now that elite RB values are highly volatile. And in most cases it makes good sense to trade out of RBs with first or second round start-up ADP. I think it is a rare situation where a team should own Bijan for example.

The problem is that Walker doesn't carry that value any more. Walker's 1QB ADP peaked as an early first round start-up pick and is now at the end of the third. That's why you are seeing this kind of offer. The window to sell Walker obviously closed day two of the NFL draft unfortunately. Walker is more of a buy for someone who wants to trade down from Bijan/JT/Hall/etc.

IMO this deal is too pricey. Adams and Walker are very close in value so it's paying a 1st/2nd for Aiyuk. I don't think he warrants that. If you're desperate to get out of Walker and this is the best owner to deal with I'd at least try to retain the 2nd.
