I'm not sure why it'd be a smash accept. I'd have declined it. While it may be decent value for Perine (a future 2nd), I tend to look at future 3rds as somewhat value-less...Yes they have value, but shouldn't sway a deal of this magnitude.

So in the end, it's DK for Kupp. That's not a deal I'd make in anything other than a redraft league, but I guess if you viewed Kupp as elite and DK as a pretender...then I guess it's okay value at best, but definitely not a smash accept.

In short, I'd pass on this deal.
12 Team Non-PPR, 6pt TDs-22' R/U, 23' R/U
1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 2Flex (W/R/T), 1K, 1DST
QB: P. Mahomes, T. Tagovailoa
RB: D. Swift, D. Henry, J. Mixon, A. Ekeler, M. Sanders
WR: T. Hill, D. J. Moore, D. Samuel, D. Smith, T. Higgins, D. Hopkins, D. Wicks, J. Metchie, C. Claypool
TE: T. Kelce, C. Kmet, H. Henry, M. Gesicki, T. Kraft
K: J. Tucker
D/ST: Baltimore, Jacksonville
Taxi Squad: R. Ali, F. Gore Jr., J. Cowing, C. Johnson

12 Team .5 PPR, 6pt TDs
1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 3Flex (W/R/T), 1K, 1DST
QB: J. Love, J. Herbert
RB: S. Barkley, I. Pacheco, D. Singletary, D. Pierce, E. Gray
WR: A. J. Brown, C. Olave, J. Waddle, D. J. Moore, T. Higgins, C. Watson, J. Downs, J. Dotson, R. Shaheed, A. T. Perry
TE: T. McBride, H. Henry, M. Gesicki, C. Okonkwo
K: T. Bass
D/ST: Jacksonville, Indianapolis
Taxi Squad: R. Pearsall, B. Corum, D. Laube

Long term the best piece is still Metcalf but if you are all in, I think Kupp helps you more now. Metcalf still has his up and down games. Kupp when healthy has been a different level fantasy WR.

Well I love other's perspective, so I appreciate that thought. I am trying to contend this year, so figured Kupp was an upgrade over DK and the 2nd for Perine is fine due to Perine being a placeholder later in the year when you need him he may not be there just my take. Kupp is a beast when healthy and gives me that top 5 WR I was missing to contend.

I agree long term is DK over Kupp, but being all in Kupp will help more now. Also if you look at the other WRs I have I think another can break out. I feel it helps me contend and stay young with other deals that I have made.

I'd prefer the DK side by a decent margin.

I prefer DK, TBH. I am just not sure when the cliff comes for Kupp, AND Stafford. Kupp was awesome last year, but got hurt. I just feel like Metcalf is safer.

I can see the appeal of kupp in a ten teamer, but the uncertainty with Stafford makes this dk and perine for me

The value is fine. Good return on Perine. If Kupp is your guy, then he can definitely lead you to a title. Time will tell. I wouldn’t fret on any remorse given the feedback. Go get that title.

Helps you contend and looks like it helps your trade partner long term. Definitely not smash accept for anyone, if you mean one sided either way.

Most rosters i'd prefer DK side, but Kupp can be a major piece for a contender.

DK / Perine are close here. Kupp in a all in, he should still be a top wr for the next year or two, but it comes with issues. The o-line in LA is one of the worst in the league and if Stafford goes out it kills his value. BUT it they hold on he could be wr 1 at years end. But both DK and Perine both have question marks. Can Geno repeat, how much does JSN cut into his production. When does Williams come back, how will the carries be split. All in give me Kupp. Long term DK side.

Prefer the Kupp side in a shallow format (10 team 9 offensive players), seems like a pretty even deal.

I'm sure by now you can tell that most people would have declined the trade so saying it was a smash accept seems to be the wrong thinking...
