Chase or Wilson + 2024 1st (top 3)

I don’t think it’s enough to make me budge but I’m curious what others think. I was asked if I would give Chase to get G Wilson and what looks to be locked in as the first overall pick for 2024. If it were guaranteed to be Marvin and Wilson I’d be giving it a lot more thought but it is the pick from the team trading with me and once their pick is in my hands they have no incentive to stay bad. They have a ton of draft capital and could even start adding players to get out of the basement. He said he would not look to do that as he is several pieces away. He has Herbert/Wilson/Diontae/QJ and legit nobody else. Is this something worth considering? Still feels like I would need 2 1sts on Wilson to make the change even though I know that’s sort of absurd to ask. QB concerns for the future are also real.

2024 1.01 + Wilson isn’t the worst offer in the world but I’m not moving Chase without an overpay or a certified stud coming back. Worth a counter though depending on his roster.

Depends on how you see Wilson. Imo Wilson is a stud so you will be getting 2 studs and be set at WR for a while.

While I much prefer MHJ, Henderson and Bowers is no slouch as well.

You do want a little more guarantee coming back that it will be MHJR, but that's a tough call. Basically take the trade and then trade a few pieces to the lower teams to boost them just a step above.

Yeah exactly my thoughts lol. I guess if I have to think this hard about it then it’s probably not the move for me. I do have the other 2024 1st pick that could be the next biggest contender for the 1.01 so it would give me 2 fairly likely top 3 or so picks. Maybe it’s just June and I’m getting restless.

Chase is great. He really is. Special. But I don't quite think he is other-worldly like Jefferson has been so far. I'm also a believer in G Wilson -- I think he's easily a top-10 WR and could very well be top-5. And a top-3 pick in 2024 is a huge asset. I think I'd do the trade.

AND I think you can probably get something else out of it. It might be greedy to ask for their 2025 1st, but do it!! Emphasize it should be late, see if you can pull that off. Add your 3rd (or even 2nd) in 2025 if you have to. Or an early 2nd somewhere. I think this is probably a trade to take as-is and certainly if/when you get something else on top.
