Trade value gap from AJB to JJ

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade value gap from AJB to JJ

Postby Overachiever77 » Sat Jun 03, 2023 11:27 am

Half ppr, what’s the value gap from AJ Brown to Justin Jefferson? Thinking of trying to upgrade from Brown so what would you need as a JJ owner? I thought about AJB and 1.08 since I’m not thrilled with the rookie options there. AJB is my WR2 so this is mostly just wanting JJ.

AJB + 1.8 won’t be enough I’d guess another 1st on top, where the 2nd 1st is projected to be at least a top 6 next year.

You’re not loving the options at 1.8 and he likely won’t either. If you pull this off though, congrats

As a JJ owner, I would need more than AJB+1.8. Think of it this way, if you aren’t thrilled with who is available at 1.08, why do you think the other owner would be. Honestly, if I was the JJ owner and your “+” is your latest of THREE 1st, I would be a little insulted. If AJB is the centerpiece of the offer, I would need AJB+1.3+1.5 for me to consider, and even then I’m not sure it’s enough. In a 10 teamer, studs are king, and JJ is in a tier of his own.

Not enough for JJ. You will have to overpay

As mentioned, an overpay will be needed to bridge the gap. An early 1st or a 1st+ probably? As a Jefferson manager, Brown + the 1.08 is easy easy decline for me.

Needs to be quite a bit earlier than 1.08 and the other manager needs to have a need. In other words he is a flex short and would take AJB + JSN or AJB + Gibbs.

Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo

Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker

24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5

Team 2-
