We’ve struck gold! A lot of folks were talking about how weak this WR class was after the NFL draft. Still early, but Addison and Flowers are looking like future stars.
And Addison is working a bunch on the outside rather than the slot, a knock on him I saw frequently. Haven't seen the downfield shots with Xavien yet, but I'm hopeful they work that in. JSN won't be far behind, if the 'hawks offense can get moving again.

Osborn was in for 97% of snaps yesterday. Addison seems to be gaining at the expense of two TE sets as Josh Oliver’s snap percentage is in the 30s now. So, he might not make 2WR sets, but not sure it matters if the team starts going three wide 70%+ in the game.

I think the biggest thing happening right now is that the Vikings CANNOT run the ball, so they're throwing 80 times a game. That was likely KOC's strategy anyways - with JJ, Addison, and Hock locked in and a bad run-blocking O-line - but it's probably got to come a little back to normal anyways. And their defense sucks... and the only question is who the QB is for the next few years.

He's definitely the 2nd or 3rd option, which is exactly what we said coming in. Mid/high-WR2 potential, but likely capped from being a WR1 in fantasy consistently under this configuration for the next few years.

Random note…and maybe not surprising because the Vikings don’t really have any “burners”…but I did read somewhere that Addison clocked the fastest speed of any Viking for each of their first two games.

Interesting. Addison looks legit. Still think he has a shot to be the top rookie scoring WR, but that may end up being Flowers, who also looks awesome. I think both those guys look legit. I never bought in to the "JSN in a tier of his own" thing, and it's still early, but it's really even harder for me to see that claim now.

Addison looks like a guy who's going to have a path to success, despite the target competition, if he keeps developing his craft. Vikings fans should be super excited.

It's a good thing we can draft WR's, because we sure as heck can't draft CB's!

Patterson, Treadwell, Troy Williamson...not so great. Although Patterson was a GREAT special teamer.
Moss, Harvin, Jefferson, and by the looks of it Addison MORE than make up for those first round misses.

One game in and you're already ready to write off JSN as an elite prospect?

Re-read what I wrote. I never thought he was. There wasn't an elite WR prospect in this draft. I had JSN ranked slightly ahead of Addison, but they were in the same tier. I am saying I haven't seen anything to suggest that's wrong, and what Flowers has done so far, all off season it's been steady. Similar draft capital, and week 1 he looked great. I am saying these 2 players are in the same tier. JSN was never in a tier of his own to me, and the NFL didn't show that was the case either by where he was drafted. The only guy in that group of 4 WR's jammed together was QJ. The other 3, JSN, Addison, Flowers, were all good, and in the same tier for me. I had JSN at the top of the tier, ever so slightly.

Until JSN is outproducing the rest of the WR class by a steady margin, I will continue to disagree with the idea he was in a tier of his own next to the entire WR class.

Back to Addison. He is showing out really well so far, and is making splash plays down the field. Once his snap share increases, I expect a few more targets per game to. Vikings got another good one, it seems. A scary WR duo for any Defense to face, and tack on Hock over the middle in the short to intermediate range, it's going to be an offense that can toss the ball around a bunch.

I was more referencing the last 5 years. 4 1st/2nd round CBS/Safeties… all of whom have underperformed (many significantly). In that time 2 WRs in those rounds - JJ and Addison.

He's a smooth and sneaky fast guy. Reminds me of Stefon Diggs. Kirk has a lot of confidence in him. All good signs.

Looks like a stud. He was carving up Green Bay and Jaire Alexander.

Cousins injury is a big blow though to his chances of keeping up his production with Jaren Hall or Nick Mullens. Likely some touchdown regression coming in the last half of the season.
