I would of course want the Chase side of this trade. But given my current roster situation, I would not have a viable RB 2. Should I take chase or hold these picks to ensure I have two top ~5 dynasty RBs? Also note this is a 16 team league.

As much as Chase would be awesome to own, with your roster and it being a 16 team league, I think you should hold and continue to build through the draft. That is, unless…you make this trade but then can make another trade for an RB2. Maybe try pairing your two 2nds for an RB like Jacobs, Chubb, Cook, etc..?

With not being able to land Robinson with either pick, I think you go with the elite asset here in Chase despite what it does to your overall build. Depth and options are key in a 16 team format but if either pick does not hit well, I think you will look back with regret on this potential deal. You need the RB help but the safe and great long term play is Chase.

This. The only way I see you lose is if both picks become elite. If both are just “good”, you’d likely rather have Chase. If one is elite and one is good, it’s close I guess. If one is elite and one busts, Chase. Etc etc etc.

I have seen so many posts of people trying to trade away JJ or Chase…why? They are top of Dynasty, young and a sure thing as it gets.

Get Chase now and figure out your other spots later. This feels light for a guy like Chase. Studs go a long way in 16-team leagues too, not just depth. I know RBs are scarce in 16 team but I'm rolling the dice when it comes to an elite player like we have here.
