2025 1 & 2 or Dameon Pierce?

My 2025 first/second for his Dameon Pierce? I know in my gut that a first and second seem like too much for Pierce so I am looking for a sanity check.. Does the depth Pierce gives me help me as a contender or should I pass?

I am one of the clear top three teams. I have a deeper team than both the others but one team is starting all studs and has draft capital to buy depth. I'd say I have the second best team at the moment.

My understanding would be that he sold him for the 1.04

And that doesn't tell me a lot about your confidence level as I think it speaks more to your trade partner's level of confidence which seems to be far too high lol

Yes I moved him, got the pick and Corey Davis. I made the same offer to the 1.05-1.09 owners and would have been fine with any of them. Don't think Pierce is long as a starter

I would hold. Singletary will get work and Pierce was a volume play last year. I expect his value to drop significantly this season. This deal could age very poorly by the time this picks are otc.

I'm apparently in the minority. I bought Pierce for that same price. At the time, I didn't have a good team, only had Bijan. Since I bought Etienne for two 1sts and a 3rd. And spent two 1sts for London and Pacheco. In my league poll I lost the Pierce trade 3-6. Won the London trade 4-3 and then lost the Etienne trade 5-4 (though I voted against myself on the last one to make picks seem more expensive to facilitate more deals).

If you’re good, I’d keep the picks. The challenge, if you’re like me, is that you really need a 1st rounder to improve your team. 2nds have trouble making my team (because I have 12 keepers)…so I like having a yearly 1st to replete. And if you are a good team…you may not even need Pierce.
