Mahomes, Allen
Lamar
Hurts, Herbert, Stroud, Burrow
Love, Murray, Purdy, Dak, TLaw, Tua

I can see an argument for Love over Burrow due to injuries, but I'll give him a pass for 2023. Also, I didn't leave him out, I just don't know where AR even fits into any of this at this point. If I'm including him I may as well start ranking the rookies in too.

And now you all can carry on with your Love fest.

Allen, Mahomes, Lamar, Stroud, Herbert, Burrow, Hurts, maybe Kyler

In reality I'd of course take him higher (over Kyler for sure, probably Hurts and think he has a solid case over Burrow)

Rushing is too valuable in fantasy though. This is a game where Josh Dobbs got me to the playoffs in a couple leagues just because of his legs, where Jalen Hurts has averaged 24.5 PPG since his sophomore year (3 year span) despite being good only one of those years in real life, where Kyler Murray came back from an ACL and outscored Mahomes, Stroud and Herbert, etc

For both floor and ceiling
In the league I have where QB's get the same for rush yards as pass yards, I'd take Love over Hurts, Kyler and Lamar. I'd have a tough time trading him for anyone other than Mahomes, and maybe Allen. Love was QB4 in that format, and QB1 the back half of the year in that league. He was 3 points behind Hurts on the year, but it's hard to trust Hurts with 15 rushing TD's, Kelce retiring, and that play up for review.

In more standard scoring leagues, rushing yards may push Love down a few players for me, but I'd still want him top 7 or 8, especially in 6 points per TD pass.

I completely forgot about AR

Dude was scoring over 18 PPG while leaving two games before halftime and is likely getting another solid weapon this offseason as well as getting to play with JT

On the other hand we don't really know if he can pass at an NFL level to stay a starter like we do with Hurts and Murray

But with the Colts' investment in him I can't imagine him getting benched anytime soon so...I guess the ceiling should win out and he should be around the range of Murray?

Difficult choice right now in dynasty but I'll be all over him in redraft next year

1 QB vs SF matters, too. 1 QB, swinging for the fences, but SF, I want viable, long term starters with upside and floor. Love was still QB 5 in my 4 point per TD pass league.

He's proving to be a competitor of the highest level. His best games have come in revenge games and he shines brightest when the Packers need him the most. I don't have the stats here but he's got to be absolutely lighting it up on 3rd/4th down and his TD efficiency in the redzone has been remarkable, as well. It seems like every moment they need him to be great during this 2nd half stretch, he's delivered.
on 3rd down in the last two weeks, both were elimination games for Green Bay:

11/14 (with a drop) - 85.7% adjusted completion
138 yards
147.3 QB Rating
3 TD
11 1st downs converted
93.8 PFF passing grade (Elite)
Packers offense,

95% TD Pct in goal to go situations
Highest in the NFL since at least 1991

This thread may shed some light on a forum consensus. Admittedly, in asking for three choices, it may not leave a lot of room for a QB on Love's level.

Can you update that to allow for more selections? When it's just the top three or so being voted on we are really just seeing the top tier - and everyone knows Mahomes, Allen, Lamar are valued higher. What I want to know is how people view him vs the next tiers of QBs like Burrow, Murray, AR, Purdy, TLaw.

I think if I edit the poll it might reset the votes.
When this poll has run its course, I'll do another one with a different set-up.

I think my trade for Love before the season of 2025 3rd and Irv Smith Jr is looking great. I get it’s 1QB and Fields is in flux, but not a bad return on my investment. I just realized I have 3 of the NFC North QBs. Ugh.
Team 1
Dynasty 10 team, 22 roster + 6 Taxi, PPR
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE, K, Def

QB: Love, Goff, Fields
RB: Bijan, Montgomery, Kamara, Ford, K Herbert, Zeke, Mattison
WR: Jefferson, Olave, London, Ridley, Sutton, Shaheed
TE: Kincaid, Kittle, Freiermuth
K: Tucker, Sanders
DEF: CLE

Taxi: Charbs, K Mitchell, Demercado, QJ, D Douglas, W Robinson, Hooker

Picks
2024: 1.03, 3.06, 3.09, 4.09
2025: 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5
2026: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Team 2
Dynasty 10 team, 22 man roster + 6 Taxi, PPR, SF and TEP
1QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 S Flex

QB: Allen, Goff, Watson, Jones
RB: K Williams, B Robinson, Chubb, Ford, Mostert, A Gibson, Dillon, Pierce, Zeke
WR: Olave, T Hill, Addison, D Adams, C Watson, D Johnson, G Davis, OBJ
TE: Kincaid, Kmet, Goedert

Taxi: Willis, DTR, Mims, K Miller, Demercado, Vaughn

Picks

For what it's worth, in a large buy in 2qb 2te league I just picked Love at 2.04.

Granted this was just prior to the Dallas game, but the qbs in order went:

1. Mahomes
2. Allen
3. Hurts
4. Lamar
5. Stroud
6. Burrow
7. Herbert
8. Lawrence
9. 1.01 (assuming qb)
10. Richardson
11. Love (me)
12. 1.02
13. Dak
14. 1.03
15. Kyler
16. Tua
17. Purdy (I desperately tried to trade back in here, as I was otc 2 picks later.)

Huge drop after that before fields, goff and the others went.

Curious as to what folks here think of Love's trade value.
In a 12 team SF TEP PPR league, start 11. My team is mid, finished 6th in 2023.

Team strengths are QB, Mahomes, Kyler, Love, and TE, Kelce, Andrews, Hockenson, Musgrave.
Team weaknesses are RB, Kamara, Aaron Jones, Charbonnet, and WR, Godwin, C. Kirk, Boyd.

The owner of the 1.04 just put his pick OTB. I am a huge fan of Malik Nabers.
Would you trade Jordan Love, the 3.08 and 4.08 for the 1.04 and the 2.04?

I don't love it on value (no pun intended). And I'd be concerned Nabers doesn't make it to 1.04. I could live with it if I was confident you were getting your guy.

I always avoid trading for a pick to target a player unless it is 1.01. You never know for sure he will be there.

I'm with you. Rookie drafts are unpredictable. Especially prior to the NFL Draft.

All very true, which is why I'm thinking this is a trade that can't be made before the rookie draft.
