GEDL Rookie Draft 2023

Hey Friends

It's that time of the year again. The GEDL Rookie Draft kicks off this Friday. For those of you who don't know about this. It is a 14 team 1 QB Dynasty league that holds it's rookie draft two weeks before the actual NFL Draft. This is also a very deep draft that spans 98 picks over 7 rounds. To get out in front of the inevitable poster who will say "Why should I care about your league". My answer is don't. This isn't about publicizing my league. I started posting the link to this draft here on the forum over a decade ago because people asked me to and still continue to ask for it. I literally got an email a few hours ago asking me about this year's draft haha. Hat tip to Jordan for reminding me.

We always try to follow this thread and discuss our draft picks. This league is an actual money league ($50 per team) so there is some skin in the game. This isn't some meaningless mock draft. Feel free to comment on our picks good or bad and tell us what you would've done. The only thing we ask is that you not discuss players who are still on the board.

I always post a link to the prior year's draft as well. So you can really fall down a decade-long rabbit hole of crazy picks if you want.

Madison Mustangs here. I did a complete rehaul of my team so im stacked with picks in this draft. I currently possess picks 1, 3, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 24, 30, and 39. Notable players on my team:

Qb: Sam Howell, Malik Willis
RB: None
Wr: Tyler lockette, Chase Claypool, Calvin Austin III, Greg Dortch
TE: George Kittle, Noah Fant

Really need to hit on a couple of those picks between 10-20 to rebuild this team!
