This really isn't a question to me. Stafford had one of the most complete skill sets of any QB coming out of college in recent years, as Greg Cosell noted. Stafford is growing as a passer and has a young group of highly talented skill position players to grow with him.

It's easy to discount Bradford's struggles this season as due to the lack of a legit supporting cast, but that's not it. He has regressed fundamentally as a passer this year, and while he'll probably develop into an above-average QB in the league, he just doesn't offer nearly the upside that Stafford does.

I perfer Bradford's skill set over Stafford's, but Stafford has a much better cast of characters around him. You can't garuntee that Bradford will get help.

This is Bradford's second year and second system, so he wasn't really expected to make great strides this year. I'd expect him to progress forward next year, but he'll need some pieces around him to fullfill his potential. I'd bet that Bradford would have made done better throwing to Stafford's targets and Stafford wouldn't be as good throwing to the Rams so called pass catchers.

I don't think its close! The only thing holding Stafford back is personal injury and I guess you could say it about either one! If there was one major difference that makes the comparison unfair, Stafford gets to throw to the best WR in Football, Bradford has had no one up until now! Bradford now has a decent target in Lloyd - I think that is something to consider and the Rams seem destined to draft one of the top WR's in the 2012 draft and should finish as a bottom 5 team!!! The question was asking about next year and beyond - That draft pick could change this conversation a bit...

Stafford. Megatron is a once in a generation kind of talent and odds are that Bradford won't have the type of supporting cast that Stafford has for at least a few years.

Detroit is at the stage where of they fortify their O-line and/or add another legit outside WR to replace Burleson, they could go from a great offense to a truly special one. And if they can figure out how to get a running game going, that can only help.

Stafford.

14-1 now with Stafford as the clear favorite between the two... :D
