The classic old 'Four pennies for a hundred dollar' trade.

Not to be political, but.i likes the desantis living like a slave article that popped up under the bijan thread.

Sadly, they aren't that far off on Bijian. Not many 8-10 year backs any more

I've been trying to sell Bijan in a 12 team SF Half PPR league, but everyone just tells me that Bijan is "too rich" for them.
No one even wants to talk specifics.

My squad is in last place right now, with Mahomes, Josh Allen, Bijan, and very little else.
I got a lot of younger starters around them who are doing very little.
My starting WR's are London and Burks, Kincaid at TE.
Other starters in my lineup are Allgeier, Roschon, Curtis Samuel, and Elijah Moore.

Best bench player is Jordan Love.

I have been trying to get 2 pieces for Bijan, like Bijan + Allgeier for Higgins + Olave
Or Bijan + Kincaid for Hockenson + Garrett Wilson......no one is interested in giving up 2 for 1 Bijan.

I guess I will just go after the 24 1.01 at this point, I also have four 2nd round picks in 24.

I have sold two of my three Bijan shares.

First trade happened before week 1, traded away Bijan for Gibbs + what looks to be the 2024 1.01 right now in 12 team SF league.

Second trade happened after week 3, was also a 12 team SF league, traded away Bijan for Achane + mid/late 24 1st, and early 25 1st.

First trade looks good as long as it's top 3, Bijan is definitely at least a tier above Gibbs, but getting a QB or MHJ, that's worth it.

2nd one I am not as high on, as I don't know about projecting picks 2 years out, and I do like Achane, but worry that efficiency, especially in the RZ, won't last, but certainly not a bad trade. It's a nice blend of now vs the future, it might prove to be a really nice move. Lot's of outs/ways you can win this trade, don't get me wrong, I think both were savvy moves, because you had a clear plan to diversify. That 2025 pick is the one that will matter most for me, if the team is a total dumpster fire that you don't think can bring that pick into the mid first in 2 years, I like it, if it indeed becomes an early first.

Looking at CMC essentially single-handedly winning leagues this year…it’s really hard to trade Bijan for any number of picks. Because you could give me 10 1sts and it will still be unlikely to get me a RB as good as Bijan. RB is so scarce…if you’re already a contender, Bijan is almost a priceless commodity.

Right, now go tell the non contenders in my leagues to sell me Bijan

In my 12 team league, I just offered Achane, Jeudy, Sanders, 2025 1st (should be late) and 2024 2nd (his choice that can be traded later as I have two). He declined it after some hesitation. He needed depth at RB and WR. Thought that was and overpay but apparently not

I get it though. For a contender that's all just depth. Achane is nice for production but Jeudy and Sanders won't add much to a contenders starting roster. Achane is a good start, but there are very few true stud RBs out there.
