Huge Blockbuster help (poll)

Postby MyTeam » Fri Feb 24, 2023 4:56 am

12 Team SF TEP

Team main pieces:
Burrow Lawrence
Hall, Walker, J Cook, McKinnon, Gus
Lamb, Wilson, Pickens, Burks, Boyd Chark
Engram Kmet Dulcich
1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.06, 1.07, 1.09, 2.02

Trade:
Give: Burrow, Walker and G Wilson
Get: Chase, AJB, 1.01

My thoughts are with my picks I will land at the minimum Stroud and Young. Then I replace Walker with Bijan and Gibbs. I also think Wilson’s value is super over inflated.

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray

Usually I'd side with the top-(5?) QB, but I think the value is enough here to take the Chase side
Team 1:
12-team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Herbert, Kyler, Baker, Jimmy G, Mariota, DTR
RB: Taylor, Saquon, Javonte, Conner, Lloyd, R.Davis, Vidal, Tracy
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Olave, Diggs, Diontae, Hollywood, MT, Shaheed
TE: Engram, Bowers, Woods

Team 2:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Mahomes, Allen, Russ
RB: Breece, JT, Swift, Javonte, Mostert, Zamir
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Nico, Kupp, Hollywood, Kirk, MT
TE: Pitts, Njoku, Woods
'24 picks: 4.01

Team 3:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Hurts, Dak, Stafford, Z.Wilson, DTR
RB: Saquon, Swift, Achane, Kamara, Ford
WR: Jefferson, AJB, ARSB, Nico, Diontae, OBJ
TE: Goedert, Njoku, Fant, Woods

The trade is fair, I just see the drop from Burrow to whatever rookie QB you draft is too massive in a SF. Chase is a stud, but Walker and Wilson are building block players as well.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

I'd make the trade, and use the first four picks of the draft to get Bijan and three rookie QBs. If two of the QBs turn out well, you'll have excellent QB depth. Of all three turn out well, you can trade one for more picks later.
TEAM 1:
12 Team ppr w/20 keepers - start 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1FLX 6IDP 1DEF
QB: Tua, Lamar, Levis
RB: Etienne, Pacheco, JavonteWms, JFord, CEH
WR: Lamb, JChase, Waddle, Pickens, MWilliams, Q Johnston
TE: Goedert, Friermuth

easily burrow side for me. its a SF. in startup values ya chase ajb and 1.01 have more value but in the real game after the startup you will pay 2 studs to get burrow.

Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary

team 2

Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)

Lots to like on both sides but Burrow + wins out in SF. He is an elite young QB and one of the best pieces to build around in SF. Walker and Wilson are top young assets too. Burrow side for sure.

Close poll! I’m on the Burrow side here. I don’t think it’s an easy call, but when it’s close, I’d rather have the QB given the format.

Probably the most interesting trade I've evaluated on here in a while! Tough call. I'm leaning on gambling on the Chase side. I think you will be able to backfill the void at QB and RB quickly with your lot of premium picks. Chase/AJB/Lamb every week is about as good as it gets too.

WWith all of those premium picks, you could also go after some really big names. I love Burrow but he doesn't have the rushing upside and will likely lose Tee Higgins this year and maybe Mixon so we may see a production dip. He's still the most valuable piece in the deal but I'm making this move and taking a shot.

I respectfully submit Team1 in my signature, with Chase+Lamb+Waddle. I know the common opinion is AJB is better than Waddle, but I'm happy to hold Waddle over AJB straight up. I had Hollywood too, but I traded him after winning the title and the season ended. I have the option to start 4WRs in that league and it was great to see 2 or 3 of them go off in the same week.

Enjoying having three (or four) great WRs to start every week is why I'm all in on this trade to add Chase to the OP's roster. I agree with you that he can backfill the QB loss of Burrow easier than it would be to add a talent like Chase.

This is a very interesting trade option.

Bijan > Walker
AJB = Wilson
Burrow > Chase

Even though it’s SF and obviously Burrow is as such the best piece, I think I like the Chase side here. You’re starting Chase/Lamb/AJB for the next few years. Trevor might just close the gap on Burrow this season. Then you’d have 6 of the top 7 picks to draft or deal. So you take Bijan, Gibbs, Young, and Stroud, and then three of JSN, Addison, ARich, Levis, QJ, Achane, Charbonnet, Mayer...or trade away some for another QB. I'd roll the dice and do it.
Team 1
Q: Allen, Lamar
W: Devonta, Nuk, Godwin, Adams, Diontae, MT, Bateman, Toney, Osborn
R: JT, Henry, Ekeler, Gibbs, Mattison, Ford
T: Kelce

Team 2
Q: Allen, Mahomes, ARich
W: Jefferson, AJB, Tyreek, GW, Ridley, Godwin, MT, Downs, Toney
R: JT, CMC, Barkley, Breece, J. Cook, Kamara
T: Kelce, Hock
2024: 1.04, 1.05, Pick 21
2025: 1st (early), 1st (early), 1st (mid)

Team 3
Q: Lamar, Herbert, Goff, Geno
W: Chase, MHJ, AJB, Waddle, Pittman, Ridley, MT, Terrace Marshall, Downs
R: CMC, Bijan, Barkley, JT, Brooks, Ekeler
T: Andrews, Granson

Team 4
Q: Mahomes, Allen, Geno
W: Tyreek, Lamb, Ridley, Pittman, Diontae, MT
R: CMC, Henry, JT, Chubb, Dobbins, Tucker
T: Kelce, Gesicki, Kittle

This is where I am, too.
Also agree with moving the late 1sts for a veteran gap qb.
