PFF did a RB show. There is a discussion on “generational” for y’all that want to parse words. Renner says Bijan is the best RB prospect since they started grading, above Saquon. Comps were tossed around - Edge and LT.

I used to rely highly on PFF. I’ve been finding over the past few years that their credibility has suffered. IMO this would just be another example.

Opinions of PFF aside ….one should probably listen to rationale before deciding a statement is wrong.

Anyway, I’m out until the next inevitable Bijan thread.

Yeah, I listened and it was painful. And I still think they are wrong. It could very well be that I’m wrong, but I do not see a RB in Bijan that will be in the same class as Edge, Faulk (who they didn’t mention), Payton (who they didn’t mention) LT, Saquon, Zeke, JT (who they didn’t mention) among a few others much less better than them. And lol at putting Fournette in that grouping. Like I said, there’s credibility issues there IMO. We’ll see.

Good to hear. Obviously he'd be the RB1 anywhere, and he won't go to a team that HAS an elite RB1.

I admittedly haven't watched the clip. I believe it is fair to say the comparison was Edge, LT, Saquon and Zeke (not sure why others were added)? As prospects, I don't find it unreasonable. As pure prospects coming out of college, Bijan is not last to me on this list. He very well may be last in NFL success, but he has the skills.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

I am curious as to why they didn't add Trent Richardson into the mix as to cover all the bases.

Fournette was a pretty impressive college player. If they were evaluating guys solely as prospects, Fournette is probably in the conversation with that group.

I feel like Fournette as a prospect is really underrated due to hindsight bias, and Zeke overrated due to the same thing. Just my 2 cents.

Have to do more than have a strong sophomore year to be in that group. And Zeke definitely belongs.

IMO of course

I thought of you saying this when I saw this mock draft today.

Not saying I think it's realistic Baltimore drafts Bijan, but apparently a professional reporter thinks it's a possibility. If Baltimore drafted Bijan, would that affect your feeling about him?

I thought this exact same scenario as a bad fantasy landing spot for Bijan. Bijan needs to go to a team that will maximize his pass catching, based on his skill set, not maximize his rushing attempts with a TD vulturing QB.

For Baltimore, would they be better off drafting an OK WR, because WR are valued highly in today's NFL, or would they be better off drafting the top tier offensive skill positional talent?

I disagree with a poster earlier, if Bijan is as good as some say, and he is to be considered generational, then he should have top 15 NFL draft capital. I agree a rebuilding team may not be wise to draft him, but then they should trade the pick because Bujan has value to another team.

That CBS mock draft has another very interesting nugget, Bijan not even the top RB prospect in this class...
