QBs Outside Top Four, 2023

I've seen a lot of talk about Young and Stroud, and some about Levis and Richardson.
Seems people think Young and Stroud will be solid, maybe even great QBs in the NFL.
A lot of people like Levis, too, and I've seen some people who were big on Richardson, at least in fantasy.
So, I think all four are draftable, especially in Superflex.

Are there ANY other QBs that you are willing to take a shot on outside of those guys?
Especially in Superflex and/or 2 QB leagues?

Mostly I'm seeing Hooker and McKee, but not much outside of them.
Not sure if those guys are ever going to start in the NFL.

Thoughts?
Who am I missing?

Hookers my main one. Really need to see when guys get drafted but in sf I'm willing to take a shot on just about anyone drafted on rd4-5 or earlier

Don't limit yourself! Remember Purdy and Brady.

What is wrong with you own thread discussing 2023 QBs?

Oh If there free most of my sf leagues are deep enough to do it. Meant that more as sinking a pick into them haha

Nix would have been next, but he went back for another season.

McKee is the next QB I expect to be drafted after the top 4. He probably goes day 2.

Not a huge fan of Hooker, but I still see him mocked day 2-3 most places.

More names to add to the watch list: Jaren Hall, Clayton Tune, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Aidan O'Connell, Duggan, Haener, Cunningham.

No order on the above and I probably missed a name someone else will mention. I think it's a pretty harsh drop off after the top 4 though

McKee the only one that could sneak into round 1 if he's impressive to teams in the pre-draft process.

LOL forgot about that. THAT was more of a general QB thread. This is who do you like OUTSIDE the top four. It's the off-season. I'm bored.

Thanks. Yeah, I haven't heard ANY names outside of the top six, and the last two, not that often. I agree on the drop-off. Just trying to see if there is anyone to take a flier on later.

I'm a fan of Malik Cunningham. I think he's going to end up getting drafted late round as a backup for a team with a mobile QB (Ravens, Bears, Cardinals). Obviously this is only for very deep leagues. I wouldn't be taking him in the 2nd round of a rookie draft or even early 3rd, but I think given the opportunity he could be a very good prospect for fantasy purposes. He scored over 20 TDs on the ground in 2021 with over 1k yards rushing. He's got great pocket presence, great scrambling ability, and is a very good quick decision maker. Unfortunately he has terrible throwing mechanics under pressure and no arm strength. Those weaknesses can both be worked on with an NFL training staff and conditioning coaches.

Thanks. I may need a sleeper in the 4th round.

Haener seems to be getting his name tossed around a bit as a sleeper.

I like H.Hooker as my 4th Qb and would be happy to draft him around the late 2nd rd if he gets something like a 3rd rd DC.

I think he comes out of college with a better profile than Ridder and Pickett.

Does the age and ACL not worry you?
