Re: 2023 Conference Championships
Probably in the minority here, but I'm going with Bengals and 49ers.
Chiefs have been sneaking by on the back of Mahomes all season, and I think this will finally be the game where them missing Hill will come back to bite them. Bengals are worse at qb and te, but have the better overall team imo, and I think they pull it off. Really looking forward to this one.
The other game to me may as well be the final imo. Best O-line in the league vs the best defense, great stories all around. Call this one a gut pick, but I think the Purdy story isn't quite over yet.

I got Eagles v. Bengals but I could see it going any way ... should be two good games.

I'm going the same way. That's before the Purdy injury, though.qazxswedcvfrtgbnhyuj wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 12:58 pm Probably in the minority here, but I'm going with Bengals and 49ers.

Re: 2023 Conference Championships
No Purdy, Eagles roll. They might just roll over San Fran even if he's able to return. The Eagles seem to be moving the ball pretty good, even though they should never have been in the Red Zone on that first possession.
Agree with those taking the Bengals. Obviously KC saying all the right things, but I have a hard time believing Mahomes is anywhere near 100% with his ankle. I think that will make a difference in the game.

Re: 2023 Conference Championships
I agree he should have taken the chance and challenged, but Pereira just said that the league didn't provide the Niners the replay in time. Just complete incompetence by the refs first off the miss such an obvious call and then the league to not provide the replay as they are supposed to.

His ankle was messed up the year they won the SB too.Shoreline Steamers wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 1:44 pm No Purdy, Eagles roll. They might just roll over San Fran even if he's able to return. So disappointing. I was looking forward to The Purdy Show making this an interesting game. Looks like fate is aligned with Philly this year.Shoreline Steamers wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 1:44 pm No Purdy, Eagles roll. They might just roll over San Fran even if he's able to return. I'm going with a KC/Philly superbowl, just because I'd rather see the two better QBs match up.
