Pirate League-Who do i give away?

I won my matchup for this weak and i am able to switch out starting players of one position. Basically what i comes down to:

I get CD Lamb

I give... well that's the question. either

Christian Watson (BYE in 13)
or
Peoples Jones (BYE already passed, and Watson return in week 13)

the only WR left on my team who has his BYE left is Hopkins...

So who do i give away, CWatson or Peoples Jones?

with Hopkins and Watson both on week 13 byes, it makes sense to move one of them.... but that could be the guy you give up next week. I'm excited about what Watson has done the past two weeks, and can see that continuing. But I'm not all that high on Peoples-Jones either. So I'd lean to moving him.
I'm not familiar with Pirate leagues. Do you have playoffs in the league? I guess this late in the season, my standings would come into play for my decisions.

Yes, there are playoffs, but they start week 14 and have a two week final in 16&17. It's a very unique league that starts with 18 managers, and from week 4 and on, the weakest scoring player gets kicked from the season and his players become available on waivers. Add too that, that everyone starts with QB/2RB/2WR/TE/FLX/3BN and after week 3 a bench spot gets added, and other positions that final rosters have two FLX, 1SF, and 6 BN. If you win your matchup you can "steal" a starting player that shares the same position with one your starters.

8 qualify for the playoffs and I'm with 5-5 at tied #4 of 11 remaining. A manager gets removed until playoffs starts, and 8 will remain. No steals during the playoffs and beyond.

Im leaning toward giving up Watson considering he has a 14 week BYE which is literally in the 1st week of playoffs.

What could also be a strategy is that I give up peoples jones, and hope that Watson continues his TD rampage and I am able to switch him out next or the week after that, not only removing him before the playoffs, but giving him to someone who might need him during the playoffs. 5 TDs in two games is just not sustainable unless Rodgers decides Watson is the new #1 WR and he receives 11 targets from now per game.

Ew, playoffs during bye. Yes, than definitely cut Watson.
