Swift, Dillon, Mid-2023 1st for CMC

Postby PR0v3 » Fri Nov 18, 2022 11:14 am

I was offered CMC, which side you taking?

I'm currently 6-4 with a two game lead for the last wildcard spot, but have a difficult ROS schedule. If I make the playoffs as is, I doubt I'll win it all. If I fail to make the playoffs the pick looks like it fall in the 1.04-1.05 range.

This would obviously be a push for the championship.

CMC helps you more now but this is the wrong time to be moving Swift combined with adding the secondary pieces on top. I am low on Dillon but this is way too much. If Swift bounces back, this deal will age very poorly with the 1st involved.

The offer is now Swift + 2023 mid 1st for CMC. Still a no?

It's better but still seems pretty pricey based on how far Swift's value has plummeted. Risky time to move him.

Heck yea!!! If I believe CMC is the guy that can take me home then I would trade Swift and a 23 mid 1st easy. Sure Swift is younger, but he has not proven to be reliable... availability is what wins and right now Swift has not proven that

I sent Swift and my 2023 first off for CMC right before kickoff.

I’ve written Swift off as a talent and am a near lock for the playoffs so felt like I had to make a push to contend.

With CMC being such a strong pass catcher I think he will age better than the typical RB.

That is a good trade, especially if you win it all then that pick is late 1st
