This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Cooper Kupp(less) team looking for advice/thoughts

Postby Oh Yeah Leon » Tue Nov 15, 2022 7:42 am

Team and league rules in sig. I just don't have the depth to survive a loss like Kupp. I wanted to use my 2023 picks to stock up youth, but would have to part with some to stay in it for this year. I could trade Hopkins, maybe Keenan if he comes back soon. Thoughts appreciated.

I think you're fine. Kupp is big blow, no doubt, but your season isn't sunk.

Mahomes + Jackson is fantastic
You need 6 RB/WRs, and you're stocked with Chubb, Ekeler, Mixon, Hill, Hopkins, and (hopefully soon) Allen.
Goedert + Schultz are great at TE.

Yes, losing Kupp is huge, but it's not a death knell. So I wouldn't trade Hopkins/Allen, etc. as a cash-out move.

Hopkins is a gamble once Brown gets back on the field because we have no idea what will happen to his target share. To me, more importantly is when does Allen get back on the field for you? I don't think you need to force a move now and if Allen gets back on the field, I am not saying he or Hopkins replaces Kupp, but you might find you have the points to keep winning games. I would give it a week and see how your team looks without Kupp and hopefully Allen back in your lineup.
