2022 buy lows sell highs- IN SEASON
It's risky to buy/sell off one week of data, but with week 2 nearly done, we're approaching the time we can reach strong conclusions.
Darnell Mooney- still the best WR, but 3/1/8/0 and 2/1/-4/0 through 2 weeks is uninspiring.
Hockenson- 7/4/38 and 7/3/26 and no TDs through 2 weeks. His value might take a severe drop before the end of the year.
ARSB turned 2 consecutive weeks of 12 targets into 8/64/1 against Philly and 9/116/2 against WAS, with a 2/68 rush line thrown in this week. Heck, Goff could be a SF buy.
George Kittle- didn't play through 2 weeks due to injury, now gets Jimmy G at QB
Diontae Johnson is getting volume (12 and 10 targets) but topped at 57 receiving yards. How close is Pickett to starting?

Buy Low:
Jameson Williams, Skyy Moore, Kyle Pitts, Elijah Moore, Keenan Allen, Michael Gallup for cheap
Sell High:
CEH, Jahan Dotson (gonna get hate for this but it's strictly a value play), Allen Robinson, Gabriel Davis (goes without saying), Mike Williams, Antonio Gibson, Amari Cooper when Watson returns, James Robinson (also goes without saying)
Sell Low:
Justin Fields, Russell Wilson (when he has a good game), Darnell Mooney as soon as he has a good game, James Cook
Buy High:
Breece Hall (if someone is worried by JeTs), Juju, Treylon Burks

Re: 2022 buy lows sell highs- IN SEASON
Trying my damndest to use these past 2 weeks to pry Pitts from his owner.
Both Jags RB are sells IMO. ETN stands to lose the most value going forward if the current usage continues.
Bonus deep buy/free-add: Ashton Dulin. Small school, undrafted prospect with strong size/speed/production profile. He was always going to have a long road to seeing the field, if at all, but is now producing with that opportunity.

On Dulin- was gonna bump a mention of him from another thread. 6/3/46 week 1, 7/5/79 today. No TDs so far, but 1/3/0 rushing today. Targeted on 32% of his routes week 1, over 30% today. Pittman injured, no timetable for a return.

Re: 2022 buy lows sell highs- IN SEASON
Not gonna be cheap, but probably the cheapest it's gonna be to buy Javonte for a while. He's getting the majority of the snaps and looks good on the touches he's getting, but the offense in general is a mess right now. When (if) they figure out their identity Javonte probably gonna really start to shine. He's a powerful, explosive runner and quite good as a receiver, a combo that's an elite fantasy RB waiting to break out.

Buy Low:
Kyle Pitts - Don't send a stupid offer (Hey here's Robert Tonyan and a 2nd!!), but it's possible someone might entertain something for 80-90% of his value. His route participation suggests that a squeaky wheel game is on the horizon.
George Kittle - With Garoppolo cemented as the starter for the ROS, this might be the last week you can buy Kittle at a discount from owners who are jaded because of the groin injury.
Skyy Moore - Worth a check-in. The ceiling is still very, very high.
Sell High:
Curtis Samuel - The type of player who you should cash in for additional draft picks if you can. Samuel is a solid player, and his production isn't a fluke, but he just doesn't have the career sustainability you want.
Gabriel Davis - Davis is a solid WR in a great situation. If you're a non-contender, I'd sell. Like Samuel, these are the types of players you should cash in for 2023 to give yourself an opportunity at a higher ceiling player in the long-term.
Christian Kirk - Similar trend here. Kirk looks really good so far. But again, if you aren't contending, these are the types of players who you want to sell to get higher ceiling talent for the long-term.

Buy
Dotson - people still arent catching on here. If your league mates havent bumped him up, make an effort to get this guy. He is really good.
Pitts - I've never been on the Pitts is alreasy a Hall of Famer bandwagon, but he may be getting cheap enough to acquire if his owners are worried. Dont expect much in the near term, but like most TEs, over the next few years he will come into his own and Atlanta should have better days ahead.
Jameson - he's been my target all along. Chark/Reynolds arent it. Defenses are going to struggle covering ARSB and Jameson.
Goff - not paying a ton, but cheaper SF target.
Cousins - has been a buy low for years. Still is.
Skyy Moore - he will eventually see the field for one of the better offenses.
Pickens - same story as Skyy. He will get his turn sooner or later.
Lamb/Gallup - Gallup getting back on the field is going to do wonders for this team and will actually help Lamb by taking some of the coverage off him.
Diontae - hes still clearly the WR1 in the offense and commanding targets as his usual level. The offense is stagnant currently, but I'll still gladly take his skill level.

Snoop Connor or Cooper Rush are drops in a 1 QB. Don’t do it. It’s a sucker play. When Pittman and Pierce return his opportunities are going to drop significantly on what is a mediocre passing offense.Paul717 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 8:01 amShhh...my league mates are going to see this thread! Re: 2022 buy lows sell highs- IN SEASON
I feel like the biggest buy low and sell highs are on the same team. Sell high on Najee if you still can, he's a plodding stat compiler. Buy low on Kenny Pickett and Chase Claypool. They might not be generational talents but they will be solid starters for many years to come.
Re: 2022 buy lows sell highs- IN SEASON
Using KTC... which is of course very reactive... but seems like the dynasty community is more reactive these days in general so...
Buy: Mills at QB22. He's better than Mac Jones and Zach Wilson. He's also been better than Fields and Lance.
Pollard RB28. He's stuck behind Zeke, but he probably shouldn't be. Talent finds a way... most of the time...
James Cook RB38. This one conflicts me because I spent most of the offseason bashing him because he was going way too high in rookie drafts. Seems like his value has corrected itself and I wonder if there's value to be had here in PPR. I could see him being a solid RB2/Flex
Rachaad White RB41. My RB3 in this years class. I think he's got some juice to him. Needs the opportunity still but this is a cheap buy now and he could keep falling.
Jameson WR30 / Skyy WR41. Slow starts were expected but they've fallen past the likes of Gabe Davis and Jerry Jeudy
Sell: Fields/Lance as QB13/14
D Pierce RB21. Not a fan. Still think his value is overinflated.
Pittman WR7. I like Pittman but he doesn't belong in the category of Waddle, Diggs, Deebo, Tyreek, Adams imo
ARSB as WR12 overall. Love me some ARSB. Have backed him everywhere. But selling him as a WR1.
G Davis WR18. I backed him this offseason as a Fantasy WR3 since he was the Bills WR2. Still think he's going to hit those numbers quite easily in that offense, but him being ahead of Olave, Dotson, DJM and Mike Evans is too far.
Pitts as TE1. Yeah I said it, give me MAndrews all day, urrday

I have Gabriel, and have sent offers basically straight-up for Dameon Pierce, Kareem Hunt, and James Cook, and they've all been rejected (I need an RB).
Man, I wish I played in a league that valued him as highly as he seems to be here, just so I could sell him for something. I see "sell Gabe Davis" everywhere except in my league. LOL.
