What would you try to sell him for?

A 2nd?....two?

He's hard to value. Curious if any of you have moved him recently and what for.

I'd try to sell him for a 2nd but doubt anyone would give more than a 3rd....he just isn't it.

I traded Winston pre-season for a late '23 first. I wouldn't be able to get close to that now. If you could get a second now, I'd do it, and get out. They are rolling with Andy Dalton right now and I don't think Dennis Allen truly believed in him... I can see them moving on after this year.

I thought Winston got jobbed this year. Dalton was mediocre at best and yet Winston just sat the bench. They should send him to ATL or somewhere that needs a QB upgrade. He can still ball and ATL has 2 BIG options in the passing game.

I actually like the Winston/ATL pairing a lot. I'm gonna go send out some 3rds for him in hopes that it happens

Makes no sense for Atlanta to sign him for a 20-30 Mill deal when they have Ridder who can be as successful as him except being dirt cheap on his 3rd round rookie contract. Winston simply is a lose cannon that cant stop turning the ball over. If the saints arent giving him another chance in the offseason, or he finds himself on another team that doesnt have a clear starting QB, he's likely to be a forever backup, waiting for his turn. A 3rd is a decent price if someone is looking for depth and owns starters. Anything above that is somewhat betting that he will start again in 2023.

a 2nd is a smash accept at this moment. Anything more you are counting on that he not only is a starter, but improved.... which he didnt. He is still a turnover machine and nothing more than an upside backup in NFL and a #1 overall bust. You could still hold and wait for a qb needy team during the season who lost their starters and get a tad more, like a 2nd and a 3rd/4th, or a player.

Well Winston is now staying in NO as a Backup so his value is squat.

Yeah, real weird, especially with how boot hurt he was about losing the start job to Dalton. Same coaching staff, then the team goes out and gets Carr. LAR would've been a better (backup) spot. LAC too.
