Trade Adams

Team 1. Now that the season has started I've put Adams back on the block and got a few offers. Main goal is to get a bit younger and pick up 2023 picks.

1. Adams for Amon-Ra + 2nd
2. Adams, Gibson for Walker, 2024 1st
3. Adams for DK
4. Adams, 1st (mine) for Diggs, 1st (late)

Any of these worth exploring? I somewhat like #1 and #3. Any other WR I should target with Adams?

I don't think any of these are great. The Diggs trade would make sense if you were jumping earlier in the 1st round as both Adams and Diggs are great fantasy WR's. I like St Brown but a mid 1st at least should be added. Trade #2 is not close for me and Metcalf is nowhere near as good as his value would indicate, easy pass there. I don't think any of these deals are worth making currently.

Pass on all those offers… wait a few weeks for the raiders to get rolling and put him up again. I think you’ll get better offers if he’s coming off one of this 100+, 2TD games

Amazingly I was able to pull in Chase for my Adams just before the season kicked off.....very happy about it!

Crazy that someone gave up chase to move down to Adams. Awesome trade for you. That wont happen in my leagues.

As expected, this is a tough sell. Adams seems like a classic hold on the roster until he retires type of receiver to me. Market value is around a mid to early 1st, but on this board consensus seems to want multiple 1sts in return. His value will only decrease from here due to age, regardless of his high production.

None of these deals are worth it. Keep Adams and wait for him to get some chemistry going with Carr and flip him then, if you still want to.

Two more came in.

Jameson and a 1st(late)
Godwin

Declined the Godwin offer already.

Jameson and the 1st (assuming it’s 2023) is very intriguing. It is likely still light because we don’t know what Jameson is yet but I’d say it’s the closest to a decent offer you’ve gotten. All the others are junk. It’s week 1. Don’t rush it. Once there are a few injuries on contending teams and they decide they are pushing their chips to the middle, you will start to get more substantial offers. I don’t hate this Jameson offer but I think I’d still hold just based on the offers I think you’ll get down the road.

I tried selling Adams for the exact same thing (Jameson and a mid 1st) and was declined without a counter

So right now I think my best two potential options are:

1. Adams, 2nd for Lamb
2. Adams for Jameson Williams + 2023 1st (mid, but could be anywhere)

The team I'm getting the offers from is a juggernaut, which is why I am looking down the road. Heres his lineup in a 12tm PPR SF:
Mahommes, Murray
Swift, CMC, Dobbins
JJ, Chase, Lamb, Cooper, Waddle, Williams
Pitts

That team’s 1sts is likely closer to a very early 2nd 😂 I don’t think I would force this trade right now. Adams value will increase as he continues to dominate and injuries occur. I know Lamb is tempting but I’ve never been high on Lamb as the guy and now it looks even worse. Jameson and the 1st is still more tempting to me but that 1st will be very late. I think I’d still hold for awhile and feel out the market as Adams rips through the league.

It's not his first. The teams who's pick it is finished 7th of 12 last year, so could be anywhere.

1. Adams for Amon-Ra + 2nd -- I'd want a 1st on top
2. Adams, Gibson for Walker, 2024 1st -- I'd need more than a unproven rb
3. Adams for DK - DK side needs to add
4. Adams, 1st (mine) for Diggs, 1st (late) -- makes no sense to "get younger" when Diggs is only a year younger

Any other possibilities?
