I heard these two players debated on Sirius radio yesterday and thought it was an excellent topic considering the hype and naysayers of Gabriel Davis.
Both are near the same age, Waddle 7 months younger.
Both play with a clear cut #1 WR on their team.
Davis has produced as a part time player, Waddle had an excellent rookie season.

The poll is for this year. I feel whoever has a better 2022 will be ranked higher in dynasty ADP next season.

Waddle has the clear ADP advantage as of Sept 2022, 20 vs 52 per Mizelle Sept rankings.

Waddle for me. We know he can put up borderline WR1 numbers. The same can not be said for Davis. I think Hill drawing coverage helps too. Not close for me.

For what it is worth, MFL (fantasy sharks) PPR projections are;

Gabriel Davis WR22, 64-1007 11 TDs 112 targets, 232.77 pts.

Waddle WR30, 93-947, 4 TDs 141 targets, 219.83 pts.

I dont put much stock in fantasy sharks projections, but I think these are both fair.

Davis is the high ceiling low floor player, Waddle should be more consistent and higher floor.

Situation matters with these players, and Davis situation is near as ideal as it can get for a teams WR2.

Waddle and it's not that close for me tbh

Waddle will have more yards but Davis probably more TD.

In redraft they are very close but Waddle is higher thank Davis in Dynasty by a second or a late first

For redraft, I'd rather have Gabe for 2022. Not by a lot, but without too much internal debate.

In dynasty, It's Waddle easily.
