Trading Swift

Team 1 in the sig. Gone full rebuild after a couple seasons as a contender. Sold off major pieces this offseason (CMC, Harry, Amari Cooper, ARod) and still digging deeper.

I give Swift
I get 2023 1st + Claypool + Isiah Spiller

I personally am not too high on Claypool but I could move him for more capital especially if he returns to form. Claypool owner has DK, Waddle, Marquis Brown and Pittman who I obviously would much rather be part of the trade but haven't had much luck getting him to add those names. Swift would put him over the top so this would be a late 1st. No rush to get this done so I can maybe put on some pressure if a key guy for him goes down but wanted to see some initial thoughts.

Currently have my 23 1st, and three 23 2nds. Two 1sts in 24 as well. I'd like to get one more 23 1st but I feel like I can begin to add younger players too.

This is how I feel too. I am high on Spiller as a RB who may be a starter in two seasons. If I could move Claypool and a late 2nd for another 23 1st that would be ideal

This is Swift side by a country mile. Swift is an early 2nd round startup player. Claypool is usually 9th or 10th round area and they now have Pickens there and Diontae signed extension. The 1st is nice but doesn't make up that gap. Spiller is a nice stash but I don't see him being the heir apparent to Ekeler. What would stop them from drafting another higher quality RB in one of the next 2 drafts. Keep Swift.

Swift + for me pretty comfortably and I am even extremely high on Spiller.

Thanks yeah Pickens is a huge concern for Claypools value. If they didn't just draft a TE who looked decent at times I'd be higher on Claypool playing that bigger ully receiver role. Agreed that this is too low and I should target another one of his receivers.

At this point with the draft capital I've acquired do you think it's worth keeping Swift? I'm hoping to get a QB with my 1st next draft and if lucky move up to grab a RB. I'm worried Swift will start aging out by the time I'm turning the corner but he is so damn young.

Yeah this would be selling Swift low. I’d expect minimum two firsts and a second for any deal involving Swift
