This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chubb for AJ Brown

Postby Rylakn » Sat Aug 27, 2022 8:05 pm

Hey guys, simple trade offer that I've been sent.

Team 1 in sig, I've been offered AJ Brown for my Nick Chubb.

I've had Chubb in many league since he was drafted and always been a fan, but the value seems to be on Brown.

What are your thoughts in regards to value and where it would leave my RB depth?

It leaves you thin at RB. I have been in the same spot with you, huge fan but I feel like he might have 1-3 more years left! AJ Brown would help you format better as well having to start 3 WR, question is - will he be a top WR for more years than Chubb? Common sense says yes, but last year was not great!

Brown long term but I prefer Chubb for your build. Brown could rebound in value but if you are hoping to make a run, I think Chubb is the better piece for your team now.

I think you’re fine at RB after accepting this. Mixon and ETN will make a good pair with Conner filling in where you need assuming that is James. AJB could give you an elite WR for 5 more years where as I personally think Chubb’s decline starts as early as this season and next. AJB for me.

Brown Easy for me. Much more value overall. The season hasn’t even started yet, so I would never really make a pure decision based off of roster construction because you’ll have plenty of times to make other trades if needed for a rb.
