This is a question that needs your team build to clearly answer. If you’re in a rebuild or middle of the pack (and this would put you in a rebuild) then I’d take Chase. However, if in the unlikely case that you’re a top team in your league competing for a chip then I would not make this deal. You’re not going to be a competitive team in a SF with Mariota as your #2 QB.

As a Patriots and Mac Jones fan, I don’t think he is enough of a difference maker to make me even hesitate to smash accept this. Mariota will at least give you some added rushing value and maybe he can produce enough to hold that #2 spot down. Regardless, I would make this deal and start shopping for another QB as I would be a lot more comfortable with a better second option.

Chase easily for me. Never pass up opportunities to acquire young stud players. And I believe Mac Jones is just a guy at QB, and Pickens is still unproven. Try and pick up a temporary QB in place of Jones. Possibly adding someone like Tyrod Taylor, Trubisky, or Brissett for example.
