How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
Ken Walker is my guy, so figure it makes sense to try and trade down a spot if possible, especially since the 1.02 owner has Michael Carter and probably would want Hall.
How much do people value the 1.01 > 1.02? I'm guessing asking for 2.02 would be too much, but would 3.02 be reasonable?

Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
I think a 2nd on top is a fair ask. Hall is the unquestioned 1.01 in the class and even though you are only moving back one spot, when there is no other real option as the 1.01 in a class, that comes with added value. A 2nd on top is absolutely fair to ask in this class.

I agree with Gator. I do think Walker and Hall are closer than the consensus is, but I am in the minority there. I do not think you will have a hard time getting a 2nd on top
Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
I made the same move early draft season and got DK Metcalf added to move back to 1.02
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
I think asking the 2.02 is light. I have seen people add picks like 1.06-1.10 or even higher to move up that one spot. I personally like KW3 a lot but not everybody does. I've seen someone trade 1.02, 1.04 and 1.11 to move up that one spot. I'd rather ask for that other team's 2023 1st to move back that spot and maybe their 2.02 as well. I think that will get you some great value. Breece's value is currently so far ahead of Walker that you have all the right to ask for a return like that.

Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
3.02 is way too light. 2.02 should be snap-accepted if you look at where Hall vs Walker are going in startup ADP and who the 2.02 is likely to be. Ask the 1.02 manager if they're interested in the move-up. If they're not, then you don't need to waste further time and energy.
Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
I think you simply offer him 1.1 for 1.2 and 2.2 and maybe throw him the 3.1 to make it happen if he rejects the deal. Go get your guy.

Cool, thanks for the responses! Sounds like people view the gap as larger than I realized, so will try to get more in return.

Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
Getting only the 2.2 is too light.
You're giving away a better back in a better offense for just a second rounder?
I'd think bigger here for sure. Look to upgrade elsewhere on your roster as well - not just picks.

Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
In my league, I traded the 1.03 23 1st for Ekler, 1.5 23 3rd and 24 3rd.
So I feel like you could get a lot more.

Personally, I view Hall as a much much better prospect than Walker so I would want like the 1.06 to move back off of Breece Hall

Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
You're selling yourself way short if you just ask for the 2.2. I personally would want at least his next 2 2nds (2.2 and 23 2nd) and that's literally the bare minimum I would even open a DM to consider. Id want to do something like:
give 1.1, 23 2nd
get 1.2, 23 1st, (and 2.2 or 3.2)

Re: How much is reasonable to ask for trading down from 1.01 to 1.02?
Piling on, trading back from 1.01 to 1.02 and only asking for the 2nd from him is way way light especially in this 2022 draft class.... I would try to add a young WR also from his team if he has one...
