Jaylen Warren PIT RB

The TOP added player on MFL right now is Jaylen Warren, PIT RB. 20% of people have added him. You buying in?

(RotoWire) Warren has made a continual impact over the first two and a half weeks of training camp, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis: Although Warren went undrafted during the 2022 NFL Draft, he's making a strong case for a spot on the Steelers' 53-man roster during camp. He broke several tackles for a 70-yard touchdown during Thursday's practice session and should get increased looks if Benny Snell (knee) is forced to miss any time beyond Thursday. Warren will still need to prove himself during preseason games, but the Oklahoma State product appears to be firmly in the mix for a role as depth at running back.

THOUGHTS?

Was happy to add him in some deep leagues, had no idea who he was until a roto blurb last week. He had a really nice TD catch and has apparently been running a lot better than Snell and McFarland. Add in their desire to take a little off Najee's plate and you have a potential deep league FLEX with stand alone value should big Najee get banged up and miss time.

That's about what I was thinking. Never was impressed by Snell or McFarland. I have a few fliers I can take at RB across various leagues.

Doubt he has standalone value, but I want whoever is their #2 if they are this cheap

He looks like a good hand cuff if you're into cuff players. I doubt he turns into a Pollard type anytime soon.

In my 16-Team League every RB who might have a chance is worth pure gold. And Warren was an FA there. So I quickly added him and now hope for the best. #2-Guy is better than that, what I already have

Pretty easy to miss on RB's these days.

I haven’t really paid attention to Warren up until now.

He looks tiny compared to his Oline, who opened some gaping holes for him. His inseam must be like 26” - his legs look out of proportion short compared to the rest of him but he churns them well, and his short step/ choppy running style seems to help as he changes directions effortlessly. Good BMI though - he’s definitely solid.

Runs a bit too upright for my taste, which isn’t a good trait for a smaller back. Doesn’t look especially fast. Has very good vision and makes good decisions in choosing and changing his path. I really like his N/S mentality. Good patience and gets into the seam quickly when it opens. Can shrug off high arm tackles. Changes directions and chooses a new path easily.

I don’t see any elite traits, but I see a lot of solid skills and ability that might make him a good backup. I did not see him catching a lot, so no idea on his pass game skills. There would likely be a concern on his pass protection given his size.

I don’t see him as ever being more than s very sound backup and a spot starter, but I do like him more than over half the guys going in Rd 2 of FF drafts right now.

With a FAAB of $100 what are you bidding on Jaylen? I have my bid at about 10.01. You?

Picked him up in one league for $0 before the Rotoworld blurb. After the blurb, I bid $3 in 2 leagues and $1 in one league. Could have won all for $0.

Super deep league but I bid 7.5$ comparable, won him but there was a 12.5$ bid that won a higher priority guy on his list to fill out a roster so I got him

$500 and I got him $37. I have Najee and its 16 team start up to 4 RB so I went a little extra.

Cool. Thanks. We start three RBS minimum, so I may have to overpay a bit.
