1.01 for the 1.05 + 1.06?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rather have?

1.01 for the 1.05 + 1.06?

Postby epsilonindi » Mon Jul 18, 2022 1:12 pm

Looking at various scenarios for our upcoming draft. Am I crazy to consider this? Or is Breece worth more than this?

I have a gaping hole at RB2, so if I did the 5 & 6, one of those would probably be Cook.

In another year, this may be worth considering. This year, 1.01 >> 1.05 + 1.06

I really like Williams but it's tough to say if he drops to either pick. I would hold and take Hall.

I see it’s 16 teams but it’s still pretty shallow. I’d Hold 1.01.

If you have a hole at RB…don’t overthink it. Go with Hall. But the 1.01 pick has power. You can shop it for players. I pulled a trade getting Lamb and Montgomery for the pick.

RB- Bijan Robinson, T Pollard, Allgeier, Charbonnet, Achane, J Wilson, Kelley, K Williams

TE- Goedert, Musgrave

Somebody gave you Lamb and Montgomery for Breece Hall?

Based on your roster I would take Hall easily.

That said, if you had a better RB2 the value this year is in the picks. I am a big fan of Cook but he has more risk. Hall will be week 1 starter and should carry the load. Rookie RB's that profile like Hall have a tendency to enter RB1 territory as rookies.

Based on your team, Hall might well be the piece missing for you to win it all. Keep the 1.01 and MAYBE move it come draft day for a ridiculous offer, but until then, go get yourself the only true good RB in this draft!

Wow. I wish there were more offers like that in my league.

Curious, did you initiate that trade or did the other owner?

Just imagine the kind of hauls Bijan is going to be commanding next year.
