Garret Wilson - Rhamondre trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Garret Wilson - Rhamondre trade

Postby MajinMode » Mon Jul 18, 2022 10:50 am

Would y’all flip Garret Wilson, Khalil Herbert and Darrel Williams for Rhamondre and a middish 23 1st?

Welcome to the community!

I like Stevenson and think he could see more touches this season but he is still in a tough depth chart with a system you can't trust. Wilson is worth an earlier first already, so I would rather hold and see how he comes together unless you think the 2023 1st ends up in the 1.01 range somehow. If not, hold.

Thanks for the welcome! I’ve been waiting on my account to be activated for a bit now. Glad to finally be in here.

Yeah I like Garrett a lot, never intended to move him but this guy started offering that first. I’m mainly interested in rhamondre for next year with damien Harris probably leaving.

herbert showed well in limited action and i dont think anyone likes montgomery so i wouldnt wanna move him. id prefer a mid first to wilson tho as i just dont see wilson as a wr1 or the jets becoming a prolific passing offense capable of supporting wilson and moore as viable weekly fantasy plays

Mid 23 1st > G. Wilson > Stevenson >>>> Herbert/D. Williams

That's an easy yes for me. Wilson has potential, but worst case you can draft the next Garrett Wilson (or the better version in Jaxon Smith-Njigba a year from now). Stevenson is a nice throw in to this deal, as Damien Harris will be out of town after 2022.

Superflex yes definitely
1qb it’s closer because that’s a big piece of the 2023 class being so stacked but I still think you’re likely getting a better or similar rb/wr prospect and I like rhamondre so it’s worth the gamble. The off chance the picks ends up early would probably make me do it.

I wouldn't until I had a better idea of where that 2023 1st will be and what Wilson can actually do in the league.

Welcome!

For me I would rather stick with what I have. RS does very little for me and Wilson is a great prospect
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

Is this superflex or 1QB?

Either way I think I’d rather hold Garrett Wilson and not gamble with that 1st possibly being late. If it’s superflex and you feel fairly confident it will be 1.07 or earlier then maybe

I think Wilson is a great prospect but don’t like his situation at all so if you have somebody interested get the best deal you can
12 Team Superflex Best Ball PPR TEP +1.5
QB: Lawrence, Kyler Murray, O’Connell
RB: Gibbs, Etienne, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown
WR: London, Tank Dell, Pickens JSN, Michael Wilson, Quentin Johnston
TE: McBride, Dulcich

Yes superflex and it’s hard to get a really good gauge where that pick will be, there are a lot of ambiguous teams. WR is a major strength for my squad and they are all young. Typically I like to trade from strength to address weakness but considering age and the window they fit I think I’d rather keep the strength. Chase, Higgins, metcalf, Bateman, Garrett and Dotson. Rbs are weak headed by Damien Harris, hunt, Khalil and darrel. Y’all are right though I should probably wait.

I would try to remove K Herbert - he was really good the time they gave him last year!

I also like Stevenson - but is in a tough situation!

Garret for a mid 2023 1st in a SF is probably about right. Herbert and Stevenson are mostly a wash and wouldn't impact my decision here as neither carry much long term value.
