This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

12 Team 2QB PPR

What would you pay in 2023 picks for Rashod Bateman?

I'd be hesitant to pay a 1st from a team that is basically guaranteed a bottom 4 finish, but I'd pay a mid 1st as that could end up being a later pick

If you're a competitor and can get it done with your own (late) 1st, even better

Late 1st as of now. Love the upside and potential but no need to overpay.

Love the player and his potential but also love the prospects in next years class. I’d definitely be willing to pay a late 1st, but anything close to having a shot at being early or mid I’m holding.

Mid 2nd trending to low 2nd in SF. He's talented enough to make me consider acquiring him. In a different situation, I could envision Bateman reaching WR20-25. In Baltimore with a fully healthy backfield, I don't see anyway Bateman can be better than a WR3, and even that might be optimistic.

First, I’ll state that I don’t see how at his peak he is anything more than a low end wr2 or high end wr3. On a run first team with a TE as the top option… I’d be in the 2nd round area, but I know most would pay a late 1st. But, this is also the reason he’ll never be on my team

Bateman is quickly becoming a player that I think is getting way too much hype. I think now would be the worst time to try and acquire him and for me he is not worth more than a 2nd
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

Bateman all day love the kid and his talent(top 4/5 pick i would keep pick). liked more than waddle coming out but he did fall in a worst situation but the Ravens were much more passed oriented last year so not sure if that trends continues. I always stated Lamar was a great RB playing QB.

I think I'd rather hold my pick here. I'm still not sold on LJax as a passer. To me he is the modern Vick, he will have games where he lights it up passing then others where he misses his wr's. They are in a run first, run second and if they can run third offense. I know he is representing himself, but if a team had what they considered a legit elite qb wouldn't Balt have made the deal to lock him up awhile ago and not wait and cost themselves more money possily? He will have the opportunity with Hollywood gone, but he's just going to look at limited production like Brown had. I'll pass unless you can land him for a 2nd.

I agree that he will not be in the WR1 range. Given the list of WR2's is a little hard to see him there either, so I would not trade my 2023 1st for him especially until he actually does something. Early 2nd would be the absolute limit I would pay.

What did he do? i thought the team just traded away Brown. Bateman hasnt done a thing but get drafted first round last year, miss half the season, and be the PERCIEVED beneficiary of the teams top wr getting traded away. until hes benefitted and shown to be a valuable dynasty asset i dont get the 2023 first valuations especially when this forum and most forums are thinking next years class is deep and robust with high end talent.

I think you wouldnt sell for less than a late 23 first and wouldnt buy for more than a late 22 first or maybe a pair of 23 2nds. anyone that has a late 23 first is win now and is lookin to spend it on someone more of a sure thing than bateman
