2022 Flag Plant Predictions

Someone got this going in a Marquise Brown thread… so who is willing to go on record with some 2022 Flag Plants?

Here are the rules:
- these are not ‘bold predictions’/hot takes that people pull out of their brown folder (to clarify, the brown folder has nothing in common with the Marquise Brown folder). Instead, these are things you legitimately believe will happen that are not agreed to by the fantasy community at large
- think of it this way, if you wouldn’t put this prediction in your signature then you probably don’t feel about it strongly enough to put it here (this may cut down on the number of posts in this thread, but it will also keep it reasonable).

Have at it!

Mac Jones high QB 2 season. They gave him some deeper field options and added A LOT of speed to really open at that offense and he's the only one of these rookies on an actual path of progression

I thought it was things we legitimately believe will happen?

More of an offseason prediction: the 2022-2023 offseason QB market will be the craziest in NFL history. The. Craziest. In. History.

I fully believe that nearly half the teams in league will be looking for a new QB.

Nearly guaranteed: Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks, Lions, Texans, Giants
If their new guy doesn't pan out: Colts, Saints, Commanders
If their 3rd year guy doesn't look great: Eagles, Dolphins
If their sophomore really stinks again: Jets, Jags, Bears, 49ers
Suspension dependent: Browns
Retirement dependent: Bucs

I know some of these guys will hit and start again in 2023, but that's 17 teams. And this list even assumes no major shakeups in Arizona, Green Bay, Tennessee, & Las Vegas.

Throw in a draft class with 4 QBs projected in the top 10 picks, and I think we see an offseason that makes the 2022 QB shuffle look tame in comparison.

No Rams RB rushes for 1000 yards.

Cooper Kupp has another 100 plus catch season.

Patrick Mahomes finishes outside the top 5 in QB scoring.

I think this is extremely plausible. He performed well after getting out of the doghouse.

Matt Ryan finishes as a top 10 QB
Barring injury David Montgomery finishes top 10 at RB. Bears offense (especially rushing) surprises a lot of people by being mediocre/good.
Tyreek looks every bit still Tyreek even with Tua throwing to him instead of Mahomes. Finishes borderline top 5 at WR.

JK Dobbins finishes a top 10 RB
Michael Pittman finishes a top 12 WR
Tua finishes a top 12 QB
Trey Lance starts less than 9 games
No rookie WR finishes top 24, and London isn't in the top 4 among rookie WR finishes (this one is probably a bit of a hot take, but I'm putting money on it so I do believe it will be the case)

Etienne introduces himself as a legit RB1 and reminds everyone of Reggie Bush’s receiving ability.

Christian Kirk 85 1100 9TD’s as the Jags climb out of the basement.

Dallas Cowboys have a top 4 Defense and win12 games to repeat as NFC East champs
