I feel good going into the year that I will compete, The other team is aging and could fall off a cliff anytime. His starters consist of Brady, cmc, fournette, gronk who may not even play this year, Lockett and godwin. Im crossing my fingers he falls off a cliff and I get the better end of the 23 1sts. That was my goal the whole time was I was willing to do a 3rd 1st but I wanted his 23 1st as well. He now has picks 3, 5 and 6 this year though so he could rebound nicely. I feel it was a good deal for both of us where our teams stand.

Even better for me. I know I was comfortable sending it and my league mostly thought I overpaid. I feel good about it though.

Higgins and 2 1sts is definitely toward the most I'd pay for chase, but that possibility of getting a higher pick next year is a nice consolation.

I do this trade every day to get Chase. That 1st coming back makes it an easier decision.

As a Chase owner, I also would have rejected that offer.

When chasing Chase, it's going to cost much more than you feel comfortable offering. And I think I'd feel uncomfortable agreeing to an offer that I didn't feel blown away by. Basically, if an offer pops in your head and you think it's fair, it's not close.

Don’t see how this is paying up? He gave two top 6 picks in a WR heavy draft, a future 1st AND Higgins for Chase & a future 1st. That’s literally the definition of paying up. I love chase but I’ll take the other side in this one.
