DJ Chark vs Kendrick Bourne

Who would you rather have?

Right now Bourne is ranked full rounds below Chark in ADP. Is Bourne too low? Chark too high?

Thoughts on both in dynasty.

I see very little upside in Bourne, give me Chark all day long

I would much rather gamble on Chark but would not count on him as a weekly safe starter.

This is where I was too, but I got offered a late 2nd+Bourne so I took it. Not a fan of players on 1 year prove it deals. Same reasoning I sold Juju+ for a 23' 1st.

I feel like Chark needs a QB willing to throw contested catches. Not sure Goff or any of the incoming rookie QBs can do that effectively. And the injury concern nuking his value/if he gets reinjured.

Bourne put up the same # of fantasy points as Jakobi Meyers on nearly half the targets. Very low-key efficient last year I think he may be in sleeper category. But yes, the upside isn't really there.

Bourne and Meyers are both players that are not going to go crazy by themselves, but if NE ever gets a real playmaker at WR, those two could feast with the defense's focus elsewhere

Great cash out on JuJu. He is not a good WR and I am guessing that trade will age very well. I don't think Bourne or Chark are players you can rely on week to week, so going with your preference or who you think will be better is a decent gamble. Neither are likely to have trade value so either way I don't think you miss big here.

I personally think Bourne is underrated. 9 out of 10 owners will throw him in a trade and he is start able in a pinch. Chark will cost you something, and he isn't dependable, so he will let you down. That is probably my personal disappointment in him bleeding through, I was thinking he might be something last year.

I agree with that. Chark has more upside, but they're roughly the same kind of asset to me; they're both players I want off my team in a rebuild in favor of picks. This range of WR just doesn't belong on most rebuilds imo. Better off on lottery tickets/trading up for better picks.

Getting a late 2nd in return+Bourne I had no problem down tiering from Chark. Might be able to get another late 2nd for Bourne in season.
