I have heard whispers of the possibility of not activating Kyler during his 21 day window, thus shutting him down for the season.
Those rumors started right after week 8, when the Cardinals climbed back into the 1.01 slot.
Allegedly they do not want to risk losing that pick again, which is why they traded away Dobbs and fired up Tune.
Question is: As bad as Tune looked on Sunday, would the NFL consider the Cardinals tanking to be blatantly obvious and do something about it if they shut down Kyler for 2023?
Similar to the NBA stepping in on the 76ers a few years ago when what they were doing was so obvious.
I mean the key to tanking is to be less obvious about it, at least pretend that you are trying.

I think at some point the leaked report basically said yeah the cardinals are tanking but the new regime also want to see what they have in kyler to decide whether they'd rather have him or whatever rookie they can get

If they shut down Kyler, it's because he's not healthy enough to play. Gannon has already said they will be activating him Wednesday and he will take first team reps this week. If they were going hold him out regardless, they never would have designated him to return and just let him play out the year on IR.

Theoretically they could activate Murray and keep him on the bench for Tune? Seems like a Cardinal thing to do.

Right now it only looks like I will be starting him in one SF league.
In that league I have Mahomes on bye, Love as my QB1 this week, and SF is between Kyler or Zach Wilson.
So I plan to go Kyler there.
In other leagues, I am playing Russ Wilson over Kyler, playing Dobbs over Kyler in another league.
