The difference is that Shanahan doesn't run a RBBC. He changes his featured back on a whim even when he has a guy posting big numbers. He is unpredictable and the decisions are impossible to follow. A guy could get 20 touches or none on any given week. Belichick employs a RBBC and has RBs with roles in his offense.

Both coaches will still give you a headache with their RB decisions though, starting any of them on your fantasy team is like playing russian roulette "Christopher Walken in Deer Hunter" style

Has anyone traded for Vereen in their leagues lately?

He is available off the WW in my 16 team league...surprising, but I'm adding him. I can sign him for up to 6 years, how long do I sign the kid?

6 years since I'm guessing it will be cheap. He has skills.

Woodhead not expected to play. Eventhough, they have BJGE & Ridley, it will be somewhat telling to see how they use Vereen this week (assuming he's healthy?). The guy at some point HAS to see the field. You don't draft guys that high without expecting some kind of return.

I would've dropped one of the 3 WRs you have listed at the end of your roster (Roberts, Edelman..)

That hasn't been updated... I don't have Roberts anymore and Edelman I am holding on to being this is Welker's last year under contract and we all know how they don't like giving contracts to older players (other than Brady)..

It was frustrating seeing the law firm get 27 carries today while Ridley only got 7.

Both coaches use their RB's in different roles in their teams offenses but both also change their feature back on a whim IMO. Right when it looks like Ridley will be the man after an impressive week 4 game, Belicheck goes back to BGE and he responds with his own big game.

I find both back fields extremely frustrating from a fantasy football viewpoint for the same reasons.

Seems he couldn't outrun the Jets while BJGE was able to pound everything, I guess they wanted to lean on BJGE today. Vereen again had no role at all.

Had an opportunity to sell real high on Ridley in a package deal before Sunday's game and passed. Needless to say the owner has changed his tune.

Wonder what it's gonna take for Vereen to get a shot at any offensive touches.. Woodhead is out and they don't even give him a single one.
